YouTube adventures part -39- technical difficulties

I doubt that most people realize how much work there sometimes goes into making a video. Sure some videos are easily made and I'm not trying to sound like I make such amazing videos, but there are a lot of things that can go wrong and that often starts when you record. These problems are often known as...

Technical difficulties.

No matter when or where I record there is always something that goes wrong. Sometimes my camera just stops recording for no reason at all. So the last two minutes of the match I was recording aren't recorded, which sucks because sometimes something good happened in those minutes and I take it that people want to see how the match ended. This is really frustrating when you want to record long matches or make a playthrough of a game, because if the camera keeps quitting then there is no point in recording. So it's smarter to record with a capture card, but there are issues with that as well!

But things don't going wrong with recording, then there is another annoying part for me which is copying the file from my camera to my computer. This seems simpel and shouldn't be a problem, unless you have a computer from the stone age like me. Then everything can and will go wrong almost every day! For example I'm copying the files and when it's at 90% of copying the files then suddenly my computer says that the cable isn't connected anymore to the USB connection and so the copying is cancelled which means I can start over. So even if the copying takes less than five minutes, because of these type of issues, which can happen sometimes ten times on one evening, it can take a lot longer.

Then there are YouTube problems where I try to upload a video and somehow that process is frozen, I don't know what exactly happened but it just freezes and I can start over. The good thing is that YouTube at least remembers how far you were uploading that video so you don't start over at 0% which is a big relief. But it's still annoying that this can and will happen sometimes. It also means you have to check your progress every now and then to see if it didn't freeze. Maybe this is once again just an issue for me with my ancient computer or perhaps it's a common issue for YouTubers. It doesn't take away the frustration you feel when all these things go wrong and you're in a hurry, because then a task that would normally take about 30 minutes can take up a couple of hours. Yeah that's not fun at all...
