Fallout 4 Far Harbor dlc, it's the best one so far?

Have you seen the Far Harbor dlc trailer? It looks very interesting and if I have to believe the story around the dlc then it's probably going to be the best one. Sure it's fun to build your own robot companion and sure it can be fun to put raiders in an arena fighting a deathclaw but I think most people just want a new story where they can play more with their character and discover new things. Not that there is anything wrong with some random activities but most people really enjoy story progression.


Is this dlc post game story progression?


No I don't think so, because your companion Nick Valentine is with you. Maybe you can also take other companions with you but I haven't seen any in the trailer so that might not be possible. But the story takes you to Far Harbor, an island near the coast of Maine, where you have to find the missing daughter of a woman. So this could easily be a mission in between, but not just any standard mission! The dlc is pretty big and will keep you busy for quite some time, at least if I have to believe the stories that circle around the Far Harbor dlc. Even if this takes place after the main story then it's still worth checking out, because it's another adventure that takes you to a new area and you meet new people and monsters. What more could you want?


What is Far Harbor?


As I mentioned before it's an island near the coast of Maine and you go there with your companion Nick Valentine to look for a missing daughter. In the trailer I see a town so that might offer several missions and random encounters with NPCs and the weird cult of Atom is also back, you know those weirdos that sit around the giant bomb in Fallout 3 in the town Megaton. Except these cultists are a more violent, maybe you already encountered them in the Fallout 4 world but they're definitely also on the island. So maybe they have something to do with the missing girl or they're just a group that you have to deal with while spending time on the island. There are also new monsters that will most likely try to ruin your day, one of them can hide in the ground and then pop out as a big ugly asshole...ok maybe not an asshole but definitely something ugly!


What makes this dlc the best?


In my opinion it would be because it continues the story, because it gives you new things to do and new dialogue options with new characters or old characters. I like that, I like spending time with my companions and investigating new places. I really hope that Far Harbor dlc delivers a fantastic story and a fun experience to play it. But I trust Bethesda, the developer, with this because they make some good games with sometimes even better dlc. This is not the last piece of dlc for Fallout 4 though, more will come later this year. Far Harbor dlc will be available at the 19th of May, so you just have to wait a little bit longer.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
