Dead Island definitive edition

So far I haven't heard a lot of people that are actually happy with these games, because Dead Island definitive edition exists out of two full games and an arcade game. Probably because the games aren't that old and most people that played the Dead Island games don't feel the need to go back to these games on their new console. I'm not saying the Dead Island games are bad, but I can't say that the games left a lasting impression on me. They're fun to play with friends but alone it gets boring and repetitive real fast.

Three games for the price of one?

Well it's even cheaper than the price of one full game. I think that's going to be the best selling point, three games for the price of one. Maybe people who haven't played the games are interested but I can imagine that most people that already played these games on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 aren't interested in buying this definitive edition. But for those that are interested and want to learn more I can tell you that you get two games that will keep you busy for a couple of days and an arcade game that will most likely be something you want to try out but I can't imagine that it's going to be as good as the two full games and let's be honest you probably buy the definitive edition to get the two full games.

Dead Island games are fun to play?

Sure they're fun, at least if you enjoy beating up zombies to a bloody pulp or playing games with your friends. The problem with these games is that you mostly use melee weapons, especially in the first Dead Island game, that break very quickly and are useless then until you repair them and only get a handful of guns that run out of ammo quicker than you can stomp on a zombie head. In Dead Island Riptide you get more guns and ammo but it's still mostly the same idea with the melee approach. You can team up with other players at several points in the game, but joining a random game with another person you don't know might not always be a good idea because not everyone is looking for company. So if you have friends that want to play this game as well then team up and you'll have a blast, if you decide to play solo then you're in for some repetitive action. It's still fun but I think the Dead Island games are made to be played with a group of friends and not solo.

Would you recommend buying this game?

That depends, if you already bought and played the Dead Island games then I wouldn't recommend buying this because you pretty much get the same games but now with a fresh coat of paint on it. If you haven't played the Dead Island games and you have some friends to play this game with you then this is going to be a good deal for you. Perhaps some gamers love these games so much that they want to play it again on their new console and that's fine, I'm just telling you how I feel about these games and if you want to buy these games then that's really up to you. Personally I would recommend holding on your money for new games in the near future.
