Are you still playing GTA V?

I bet you don't play the campaign anymore but there are still quite a lot of people active in GTA V Online, at least as far as I've seen. Most of these people just roam around in free mode killing random players for no good reason other than just annoying people but there's still activity. But I did notice the amount of frustration and decline in popularity when it comes to GTA V Online, because whenever Rockstar posts an update on Xboxlive there's hundreds of messages that reflect the feelings of a lot of players. People want something new, but do they get something new? Actually yes, on June the 7th there's the Finance and Felony dlc (for free) where you can run your own criminal organization.

What is the Finance and Felony dlc?

In this dlc you can create your own criminal organization and you can compete against others with your criminal organization. How this exactly works is unclear to me, because if that means you actually have NPCs working for you or if this means that other people in your crew just have you as their leader. I really hope it's the first because that means that people that like to play on their own in GTA V Online can finally do their own thing without needing other people to get that done. I don't mind playing with other people but it's nice if you can do things on your own, something that isn't well represented in GTA V Online. In this criminal organization you become the CEO and handle the buying and selling of contraband. I don't think this means you have to be an economic mastermind to handle this, it's probably going to be do this or that and then you probably have to fight for something or defend your stuff against other players or NPCs.

What's new in Finance and Felony dlc?

From what I read so far is that you can buy a high-rise office and special warehouse properties that you need for your criminal organization. These will probably be expensive so I hope you stocked up on money in the last couple of weeks during all the events, if not then now might be a good day to start before the 7th of June! There are also new cars, one of them is the Pegassi Reaper which looks like a very fast and elite car for the rich and powerful players in GTA V Online. I'm not certain if you can hire NPCs for your organization or if you need other players to fill in all the slots but at least that gives you some more options for your group. I'm certain there's a lot more new stuff in the dlc but that will be revealed later in a trailer.

Does this make you want to go back to GTA V Online?

Actually yes I would like to go back to GTA V Online, mostly just to check out the new dlc but also to try out all the new things in the dlc. It probably means you need a load of money and I know that for solo players that can sometimes be an issue, because you can't do heists on your own and joining random groups in multiplayer doesn't always lead to succesful and happy gaming moments. So trying to scrap all the money you need together can be difficult, but making good use of the events in GTA V Online right now is a good way to get started. I think this dlc will be worth it to get back into GTA V Online if you stopped playing. I just hope it gives solo players a bit more to do and that you can actually get things done without needing other people in your organization. I guess at this point all I can do is hope for the best...
