Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, the most hated CoD so far?

After CoD Ghosts a lot of people weren't happy with Infinity Ward (the developer of CoD Ghosts and also CoD Infinite Warfare), so it probably wouldn't surprise you that not everyone was super excited about Infinity Ward making the next CoD game. But there was still a little bit of hope that the developers would bring the series back to the past, some World War II action and slower paced action in multiplayer. But Infinite Warfare brings CoD even further into the future and that means more futuristic stuff and fast gameplay. So you can imagine that a lot of fans are hating the game already, but are they right to hate the game already? I don't think so!

Why is it wrong to hate CoD Infinite Warfare already?

First of all because none of us have even played it, we saw a trailer and that was all you got. Once again a lot of people immediately hate the game without having a clear picture of what this game exactly is. Sure some might not like it because it's futuristic but perhaps this CoD game could be amazing and yet some people aren't even willing to give it a chance or wait until they have more information until they scream their disgust at the developers. From what I understand it's a single player adventure that takes you into space and other worlds, there are even moments where you fight without gravity which should lead to some interesting combat. Then there's of course multiplayer that might offer some unique maps (taking place on other planets) and maybe some unique conditions (a multiplayer match without gravity for example). Oh wait, they also have zombie mode in this game!

So CoD Infinite Warfare is going to be a good game?

That's really too early to say but I think we should at least give the game a chance before we already condemn it! We no very little about single player, we no hardly anything about multiplayer and we just know that there is a zombie mode and that's about it. But apparently that's enough for some people to hate the game. What's interesting is that Black Ops 2 also got a lot of hate, because it also takes place in the future and a lot of fans were disappointed and didn't want to play it. But guess what? Black Ops 2 turned out to be one of the most popular games in the series, so maybe it's a good idea to wait a bit longer before you decide if you want to buy this game or not. Something that does make people happy is there is going to be a remastered version of CoD 4: Modern Warfare available as well combined with CoD Infinite Warfare, ok I don't think all the fans are happy that they have to buy Infinite Warfare to get the remastered version of Modern Warfare but I bet a lot of people will buy the game for that reason. Who knows, maybe they will appreciate Infinite Warfare as well.

Would you buy Infinite Warfare?

At this point I don't know, because I don't know enough about the game and I'm not the type that will buy a CoD game every year just because I had fun with the last CoD game. I want to see what Infinite Warfare has to offer, how the multiplayer is going be and if zombie mode is going to be fun to play. Because if a game isn't fun to play or even interesting in the slightest bit then I don't see why I should buy the game, but at this point it's just too early to make up my mind. Most likely after the multiplayer reveal, probably this Summer, I will have a better answer for you. I would advice you to keep an open mind, because you don't want to be one of those people that hate a game and then eventually end up playing and liking it. I'm not saying that you should love Infinite Warfare but at least give it a chance, you can always hate it later if after all the reveals and gameplay trailers you still don't like it.
