YouTube adventures -69- Immature YouTuber is best YouTuber?
Do you remember when 69 was just a number? To be honest I don't even remember that, but now you only have to mention the number 69 and you can already hear some people giggle or cheer. So that kind of makes you wonder, is being immature a good thing and does that get you more views as a YouTuber? Maybe, maybe not. It's not like everyone is immature or that someone is immature the whole time, but it does raise another question...
Is an immature YouTuber the best type of YouTuber?
I'm not going to pretend like I'm so mature or civilized even, I say and do bad things and I'm not ashamed of that! I do censor myself every now and then, I mean mostly hear and not in the videos. The videos are often the heat of the moment and then I say or do some dumb things, but to censor that would be lame because you pretty much erase a bit of real footage and try to make it look as if you're always this good person who does or says nothing wrong. I prefer to keep it real, which means keep all the bad things in the video.
I'm not a succesful YouTuber, not even a popular YouTuber. So am I the best example? Nope! But I would like to add to this that you don't have to be mature and civilized to become famous or succesful. There are several YouTubers that have millions of subscribers that release rage videos, immature humour videos and just goofing around with friends. Is that so bad? Maybe some people think it is but in my opinion it's just people being honest with themselves and others. Why pretend you're someone you're not?
If you are trying to be more mature or to keep things civilized then that feels like someone or something is holding you back. You can't truly be yourself in the video. At least that's how it feels to me. If I would have to think every moment what I say and what I do then I can't give a hundred percent in the video, I'd be thinking too much about not messing it up and not saying something bad. I think it's important that you let people be themselves. Even if that's an immature scumbag, if people like that then so be it.
It really depends what kind of people you're trying to reach or if you even care what others might think of you and your videos. If you just make videos for fun and just want to have fun then I wouldn't worry too much about the things you say, as long as it's acceptable. I mean I wouldn't suggest you're being a racist, that's just not acceptable! But if you say words like fuck, shit or anything like that then don't worry too much about it. You are who you are and if people don't like it then they should move on to another channel where someone is pretending to be perfect in heavily edited videos just to make himself or herself look like a good person. If you want to believe that then that's up to you, but I prefer to keep things real and honest. I also prefer to watch videos from people that are also honest and say what they mean and not trying make themselves look like an angel when in reality there nothing close to being one. Just be yourself and do what makes you happy, that's the key to a positive experience on YouTube!
