Why is it so difficult to find a good team in games?

I think we all have these moments where you go from one bad team to another, it's really rought dealing with that when all you want is to just play the game and have a good time. If you have friends to play with then this is less of an issue, but if you're a solo queue player then you sometimes have to go through a lot of frustration!

Why are people being so difficult?

Something that really surprises me is how some people can be so difficult, I mean why would you deliberately play as certain characters or use weapons that aren't useful on that map? What also sucks are people that always play with a sniper rifle and they can't hit anyone with them. Then there are people that only use their knife and end up dying twenty times, if not more, just to add a couple of kills to their knife montage that probably no one will watch on YouTube. I've noticed this a lot in CoD games and it's usually for that reason why I can't play CoD for long, things are fun at first but that same fun turns slowly into frustration the longer the game is out. The same counts for a game like Overwatch, a game where a good team is balanced and people play important roles. But somehow there are teams where no one wants to be the tank or the healer, which often means you lose. I don't mind being the tank or the healer but I can't be both and being the tank or healer ten times in a row gets old real fast. I don't know if some people are trolls or if they're just selfish pricks that only care about what they want and not what the team needs. I do know that when you have these type of people on your team it becomes that much harder to win!

Finding a good team isn't easy?

Unfortunately it's not. I often see people posting requests on sites, even on sites that have nothing to do with gaming, where they ask for people to team up with them. It's not easy to find fun and friendly people to play games with. Sure you can join a group, clan or community but how do you know that you fit in and what if you're just looking for a team to play with now but you don't want to sign up for something permanent? It's not always easy to find a good team, more often than not you will end up with random people that don't communicate and then all you have to hope for is that you work well enough together to succeed. I personally don't mind communicating but it gets awkward when you're the only person with a microphone and the others just ignore you. I've made requests in the past, trying to find fun people to team up with but as a guy you're usually shit out of luck. I think women have it a bit easier with that, but the attention they get with their requests remains to be seen if that's the type of attention they want. It mostly comes down to get lucky and not being afraid to take a risk. If you had fun playing with a certain person then don't be afraid to say hi to this person, with a message you could ask if he or she want to team up. I mean you already have a no if you do nothing, who knows he or she might be interested in teaming up and that could be the start of a good team.

Why is it so difficult to find a good team?

Because there are often a lot of mediocre or even bad teams out there. People that don't want to work together, don't want to communicate and will rage quit at the first sign of trouble or when they see something they don't like. The amount of times I've seen people leave a match in the first ten second is too many to mention, but I can tell you that these are people you wouldn't want in your team anyway. Being a part of a team means you have to fill a role in a team, no matter what type of game you play you have a role to play. Who is going to be the tank? Who is going to be the healer? Who will flank? Who calls the shots? This might not even come up in most multiplayer matches you play but in a more professional environment you will notice that this is quite normal. I'm not saying you should be super professional, but a lot of people do want to succeed or at least have a good time together. Getting your butt kicked ten times in a row isn't fun and it often means that the team isn't working out the way things are going now. Instead of yelling at eachother, blaming eachother or just rage quitting you could look at what's causing the troubles in the team and why things aren't working out. Even if someone is to blame then there are better ways to talk about that instead of just insulting someone. I think there are a lot of decent players out there, unfortunately not everyone is willing to give other people a chance or just back out at the first sign of trouble. The biggest problem is that there is often no communication, something that can really give you the upper hand in certain matches. Even if you're not that social you can say something or at least have your mic plugged in so you can at least understand what people are talking about. There are a lot of decent people out there, it's just the trick to get some together and form a team. It usually starts with being nice and just ask if they want to team up with you.
