Destiny 2, different game but the same bullshit?
I enjoyed playing Destiny, but my problem is that I played it for too long. Another problem I have with Destiny is how dlc didn't give you that much, sure a new raid and some new missions but I really missed some more depth in Destiny. You can read about a lot of things, some type of journal entries, but the cutscenes are not making a lot of sense. I think the main reason why a lot of people played Destiny is because they could play it with their friends, playing missions, strikes, raids or multiplayer together. But what about Destiny 2? Is this an improvement or is it just more of the same bullshit?
Destiny 2 is nothing new?
From what I learned so far is that there will be changes, for example the guardian tower is destroyed and you have to find a new home for the guardians. This looks interesting but at the same time I wonder how well the story will be. I can only hope that Bungie has learned from their mistakes and now puts more focus on the story. I like doing missions but things get repetitive fast, so maybe switch things up a bit and give people new things do to and explore! This brings me to the second thing I heard, apparently you will go to other planets and discover new things. What this all means remains a secret for now but you can say that I'm interested, but at the same time I'm careful because I don't want to fall in the same trap twice!
Dlc is already announced?
Yep, Bungie once again pulls the old let's shake some more money out of these fools....eh players. I don't know about you but I get sick and tired of this bullshit, oh look guys we have a new game but we don't give you a full game. If you want the full game then you have to pay extra. Maybe some people are ok with that, but I seriously don't like this! The game isn't even out yet and already dlc is announced, there is no way anyone can explain this as this is not a cash grab. I like dlc, I like being able to put more time in games that I enjoy playing but why does this announcing of dlc before the game is even launched have to be the new standard?
Is Destiny 2 going to be worth buying?
It's way too early to say. All I've seen now is some trailers to start the hype for the game, but I haven't seen any gameplay or have any idea what to really expect so far. What's worse is that it seems you still only have three classes, so we don't even get a new class. It's not that I don't like playing as a Titan, Hunter or Warlock but wouldn't it be nice if you got a new class? I mean this is Destiny 2 and the only new thing so far I've heard is that you have to find a new home base, ok cool. What's worse is that a lot of gear you have collected in the previous Destiny game and dlc isn't something you can carry over to Destiny 2. So if you put hundreds maybe even thousands of hours into the game then that can pretty much all be for nothing. Destiny 2 looks interesting but I'm not sold on it yet, I first want to learn more about the game before I get excited about it. In May we might learn some more, I think some gameplay will be revealed then. So hopefully that gives us some more insight of the game and then we can all make the decision if this is a game you want or not.
