Mortal Kombat XL

I think this is what every Mortal Kombat fan will like, a game with all characters and all moves. What else could a Mortal Kombat fan ask for? Oh you also get all costumes and all the different skins for certain characters. I mean that's like the best thing ever, right? Absolutely!


Is it really worth getting this game if you already have Mortal Kombat X?


That depends, if you want to have everything in one game without spending a fortune on dlc then it makes sense that you get this game. But this game is especially interesting to people who don't have Mortal Kombat X and would like to get a Mortal Kombat game with everything in it. So if I have to be honest it will be more tempting to people who don't have Mortal Kombat X but it wouldn't surprise me that some fans would get it anyway. Besides you can also trade Mortal Kombat X in for Mortal Kombat XL, which is actually not a bad idea!


Should players that are new to Mortal Kombat start with Mortal Kombat XL?


Why not? If you have to start with something then why not start with a game that has everything in it? Perhaps Mortal Kombat XL is so tempting to some people because it has so much to offer, which means people that might not be a big fan of Mortal Kombat might want to check it out as well. Because it's not every day that a game offers you so much all in one package! But I must admit that this game is probably more for the veterans, those that were there at the start and really want to get the game that brings it all together. I think Mortal Kombat XL is perfect for these gamers.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
