Dying Light the Following

Do you remember the zombie killing game called Dying Light? Well you better because it's a fun game where you can parkour through a world full of zombies! In February there's some dlc coming out for Dying Light called the Following. This takes you outside the city and even gives you the option to drive around in a car. It's the same game but with some new tricks, but is that enough to persuade you to buy it? Well let's take a closer look!

Freedom?

If you thought you had a lot of freedom in Dying Light then you should check out the Following where you have big open areas where you can move almost anymore. You could climb on rocks and jump down in the water, run around in the fields evading zombies, go on a killing rampage with your zombie killing car or make some new friends in the small town where people are supposedly immune. Immune? Well that's the reason why Crane (your character) goes to this place outside the city, because if people are immune then that would definitely help against the zombies! It's odd though that for a place where people are immune there sure are a lot of zombies!

Driving around?

With so much space it would be a shame if you had to walk every time to get from one point to the other, so you get a type of sand buggy that will function as your safe transportation. Ok maybe it's not super safe but you have means to defend yourself, for example you can shock zombies off your car or just plough through them and hope that the impact will kill them. You can imagine that this leads to some interesting gameplay and I bet a lot of people will enjoy this. What's even more fun is that there's room enough for two people in your buggy, so one person drives while the other can shoot zombies from the top.

So when can you play the following?

It becomes available on the 9th of February so that's pretty close. What's even more interesting, especially for people that never played Dying Light, is that you can buy a bundle with Dying Light and the Following dlc for a good price. At least I've seen some good deals where you get two games, the Following dlc is pretty big and I think it could count as an extra game, for the price of one. So if you like killing zombies, a lot of freedom and doing your own thing in a game then this might be something for you!
