Star Wars Battlefront, the game everyone has been waiting for?
At least that's assuming you played the previous SW Battlefront games and that you're into Star Wars, eventhough someone who isn't a Star Wars fan could still have a blast with this game. The options seems almost limitless and the freedom you get is quite big, so why wouldn't you be excited about Star Wars Battlefront?
There can only be one?
No I'm not talking about the Highlander movies, it's about the battles between the rebels and the empire. In these battles two giant armies fight against eachother and the better one side does the more the bar will colour in your teams favour (blue/rebels, red/empire). This also gives you an idea how well your side is doing, that also means that if things are looking bad that you have to double your efforts to win eventhough your fate is pretty much sealed when the bar is almost complete blue or red.
Be anyone or anything?
You can pick your own class in this game, so if you feel more comfortable as a sniper you play as a sniper and if you want to be a frontline soldier then you do that. Whatever works for you I'd say. But you can also pilot one of the Star Wars ships that you know from the movies. For example the X-Wing, Y-Wing and the Tie fighter. If that's not enough for you then there are also heroes (or villains depending on which side you are) you can control on the battlefield. For example Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. These will be quite powerful and can swat away a lot of players if they're not stop with some team effort!
Should you be excited about this game?
I think if you like first person shooters in a big open battlefield with vehicles and like Star Wars then this game seems to be made for you! It's a bit tough at first if you're not comfortable with first person shooters but remember that you can switch between first person and third person view, so hopefully that helps you a bit. Also remember that you're not alone, it's not you against an army of bots. You fight against other players and there are players on your team that try to win with you, so this might be a great game to make some new friends or play with your friends and have a lot of fun together!
