Playing games requires patience?

Patience is a virtue, you probably heard that as a kid but what does that really mean? When you play games it means that sometimes it's smarter to wait a moment or go slow instead of rushing into battle and get shot to pieces by an angry group of enemies. Especially when you play in difficult missions that are made for a team of players and also requires you to play as a team. That seems simple but the thing is that you can easily make mistakes, for example rushing into battle and getting yourself and the team killed. That doesn't help you make any friends and I don't think you feel great about that either, unless you enjoy being the troll that does that to other people online.

Why wait when you can move forward?

Whenever I play with others I want to move forward, I hate sitting still and staring at other players. Not only does that make me feel uncomfortable it's also boring, if I want to do something boring I'll watch how grass grows and trust me that's just as exciting as it sounds! Unfortunately in a team you have to wait sometimes, someone isn't ready or someone wants to check something out and that holds up the team. Sure you can split up but in a high difficult mission that can be lethal for you and the team. Of course that won't keep some people from moving on ahead and getting themselves killed.

But what if you're impatient?

Then I suggest keeping it together when you play with others or play games that don't require patience because those exist as well. Usually games that mean you have to move at all time or else you're dead! Ok that sounds a bit extreme but there are games that require you to be active all the time because if you stop moving in the game then it's easy to die in the game. If you really want to play with others but you're impatient then I would suggest to be at least social, say that you're moving on ahead instead of just moving on ahead. Also if you feel like some members in your team are holding you back then don't be afraid to say something. No need for insults but just be the pep talk guy or girl and tell them to move, go go go time is money people!

So you don't need patience when you play games?

Nope you don't need it, but it can sure come in handy in some situations. So once again patience is a virtue, at least it's not a bad thing. My advice would be to find a bit of a balance, not to be the person who always runs ahead and also not to be the guy in the back holding everyone back. There's nothing wrong with wanting to rush, but there's a time and a place for that and not every game will support your rush tactic. Some games require tactics or at least some planned movement instead of just rushing into battle. The good thing is that you have continues and if you fail with your rush tactic then you can always try to take it slow(er) the next time!
