Black Ops 3 Zombies, WTF?

I was super excited to see the trailer for Black Ops 3 zombies and then I got blown away by the trailer, I mean if this was some type of film noir crime game then this would be perfect but this is zombie mode in Black Ops 3? Weird...

No not the Resident Evil kind of S.T.A.R.S. but Hollywood stars that play a role in Black Ops 3 zombie mode, which is cool because ever since the zombie map Call of the Dead it's been pretty tempting to put some stars into the roles of survivors in zombie mode. There might have been more before but Call of the Dead is the first one where I remember seeing some familiar faces. In Black Ops 3 zombie mode you now have Neil McDonough, Heather Graham, Ron Perlman and Jeff Goldblum. Maybe you don't recognize all of the names but I do, then again I spend way too much time watching movies and series.


So what's the story?


Assuming that there is a story, but from what I could discover in the trailer it's about four bad people (people that have killed and done other bad things) and are now test subjects to survive zombies. At least that's the idea I'm getting, they at least didn't volunteer to be put in an area with zombies! What this means for the gameplay is still a mystery, maybe each character has a special ability, since each character is a different type of person (for example a crooked cop and a boxer that plays dirty), so maybe they have some type of special ability that helps them survive. This isn't completely unbelievable since in multiplayer specialists also have a special ability, so that does kind of makes sense to me.


Will this be fun to play?


Let's be honest, it's zombie mode and I find it very hard to believe that it's not going to be fun to play. I even bought Black Ops just for the zombie mode, so I can't imagine that Treyarch fucked up with this. It's the next step in zombie mode and hopefully it will be a blast, the characters look at least interesting and the zombies look read to go so I don't see how this will be lame. Sure the haters will say that this sucks, but seriously let's just wait and see. I've got a good feeling about this game and zombie mode looks pretty cool to me!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great!
