YouTube adventures -75- People hate you for the dumbest reasons?

It's not a secret that there are haters out there, but some people seem to hate for no other reason than being a douchebag. At least it certainly seems that way to me sometimes. I don't mind the dislikes, of course it's not nice but it doesn't really bother me. But when people explain, I say explain but often this is done with two or three words, why they dislike your video it often makes me wonder how this person is allowed to walk free because some people have serious issues! Which brings me to the subject of this week...

People hate you for the dumbest reasons?

A lot of negative comments I get are people whining about the quality of my videos. I always point them to the description of my channel, it clearly says that I make low quality videos, so instead of just blindly clicking left and right someone might want to check out who this person is before he or she starts throwing insults around. But I guess it's easier to be a douchebag to others, that's probably very natural for some people.

It's easy to get mad or to start insulting the person who is being an asshole to you, but in all honesty what does that get you? Not much and it's pretty much a waste of time. If someone is truly that toxic and negative towards you without any good arguments then what's the point in talking to someone like that? It's easier to just block and ignore this moron.

If someone has some constructive criticism then I don't mind reading what this person has to say, but if someone is just trying to insult you then what's the point in reading what he or she has to say? People don't have to like your videos nor do they have to watch them, but that doesn't mean that it's ok to be a douchebag in the comment section of a video. I guess some people just have way too much spare time and don't know what to do with it.

This week I saw a video of a YouTuber that adressed the haters, because a lot of people in his comment section gave him shit for the way he plays games with his friends. The hate was directed at him because he was annoying his friends with some douchebag moves in the game they played. It always makes me wonder what someone like that is thinking, typing a comment giving shit to someone that gives you free content to watch and that you don't even have to watch if you don't like it. I mean why does someone keep clicking on videos of someone they don't like? That doesn't make sense at all!

But a hater has to hate and there isn't much you can do about that, but you can block them so nobody has to see what this scumbag is typing and they can live in their sad little world of contempt. I think people should make videos that make them happy, do things that make them happy and if other people don't like your videos then that's too bad. You can't expect someone to change just because someone else doesn't like it. There is so much content on YouTube that you can easily find something else to watch.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
