YouTube adventures -77- The hidden strength behind the YouTuber
A lot of people just get to know a YouTuber, if that YouTuber actually allows that, and most of these people don't realise that there is often a person or persons behind that YouTuber that give him or her the strength to go on. This might sound a bit dramatic but honestly there are moments where you just don't feel like recording or when you don't know if you should continue with your channel. But it's the people that give you strength that help you push forward. I like to call them...
The hidden strength behind the YouTuber.
I think most people have at least one person in their life that is important to them. Someone that makes them happy or give them strength when they need it. This could be someone from your family but also a good friend. It's thanks to people like them that you get through difficult moments in your life and find the strength to go on. When you're completely on your own then things get harder, it's a lot more difficult to get through depression or find the strength to push through the negativity. It's not impossible but it's a lot harder.
What's interesting that a lot of these people aren't always interested in the spotlight. For example my sister helps me go through difficult times and she's a big supporter of my YouTube channel. But she never wants to be in a video. I respect that but it's interesting how sometimes people that give you so much strength can be quite modest or even shy in some ways. Which I totally respect, because not everyone is looking for attention or wants to be in front of a camera. The most important part is that they're there for you when you need them the most, which is worth a lot more to me than any amount of money.
If for some reason you don't have someone in your life that gives you strength then I can understand that it's not always a bad thing. Some people have grown strong on their own, they feel like they don't need anyone and might even consider it a weakness if you ask for help. But that's not true! Asking someone for help isn't a weakness, it's actually a strength to have the courage to ask for help. A lot of people are too proud or too scared to ask for help. We all need someone at some point, so it's a good thing when there is someone you can depend on.
I don't think I would even be making videos if it wasn't for my hidden strength, because too many times I just don't feel like recording or too many things go wrong. Eventhough I'm taking a break from YouTube right now it doesn't mean it's over. It's thanks to the people in my life that care about me that I find the strength to go on. So what if my channel isn't big and succesful, it's about having fun. I think that's a lot more important!
