Sinful Sunday: Exploiting a game
I like playing new games, everything is fresh and you can explore the game as much as you want. But it never takes long for some people to find ways to exploit a game, to make it easier to get through something in the game or just get better loot without too much trouble. This might seem harmless but in fact they're ruining the game and thus the experience for everyone with this type of behaviour. Why is this the type of behaviour you see in every game? Well...let's find out!
Why are people always trying to exploit a game?
Because some people want to get the most out of a game without doing a lot for it. Why do your best and actually play legit when there is a cheap and cheatsy way to do it as well? It's pretty much in the nature of all of us, to take the easy road and skip the hardships of the road you're supposed to take. But the big difference is that not all of us go for the easy road, it's only those who seem to be ok with exploiting a game and in a way cheating that do this. I know the excuses of being busy and not having a lot of time so that somehow justifies exploiting a game but a cheater is a cheater! That might seem harsh but that's the way it is, if you exploit a game you're a cheater. You might call it bending the rules but honestly you're breaking the rules and because of people that exploit games need extra patches to stop these people from exploiting. I guess some people don't see the harm in expoiting a game and I guess it makes sense if you don't think further than yourself. I mean what harm can it do that I have an advantage? But the thing is that it's not just you, it's a lot of people and once the news goes public then even more people are doing it and before you know it thousands, if not more, are exploiting the game and messing things up for the rest. So in my opinion people that exploit games are selfish. Oh someone shares the exploit info with others, does that make it less selfish? No, it doesn't. You're still taking advantage of something in the game to put yourself ahead of others. Which either forces others to do the same to keep up or accept the fact that now some people have much better loot or are much further in the game than they would normally be. Good job douchebags!
Exploiting a game isn't a bad thing?
I'm certain that a lot of people that exploit games tell themselves that, but I think there are also people who honestly don't care and just want to take the easy road with all the unfair advantages. Are you really a bad person for eploiting a game? Well I wouldn't call you a criminal, that would be ridiculous, but you are a cheater and who enjoys playing games with a cheater? Well not me! I understand how temptingthe easy road is, to get things easier and get an advantage on other players but honestly it would make me sick to my stomach if I would exploit a game just to get an advantage. I didn't earn that nor should I have gotten what I did. I'm not some type of saint, I've done plenty of douchebag things but I don't exploit games. That's just sad and pathetic in my opinion. For example a lot of people found a place on Nessus to exploit reward tokens in Destiny 2, this is where people open a chest for the reward token then go through a portal and if you get a checkpoint you reset and the chest is there again with the reward token. People farm hundreds of coins with this bullshit on a day, just to get more legendary gear. Just imagine someone doing this the entire day, not having fun but just farm these coins with this exploit. That's sad, that's really sad. I mean the entire day just nothing else but doing this, especially when they know that this will be patches soon so they'll grind it from early in the morning till late at night. Honestly what a sad sack of shit you must be if you spend your day like that. Absolutely worth it...
Exploiting ruins the game?
You might not see this but let me tell you this. A YouTuber shares this exploiting info with other people, they'll preach how this is wrong and just show you this for information (sure, we'll all believe that) to let you know it's there. But honestly these YouTubers are the worst, they literally show people how to cheat in a game and get a lot of views for it as well. Yeah good job buddy! Great work, love your video! These people will tell their friends or maybe make their own videos and so the exploit wave will spread further and further until a lot of people are exploiting the game. This creates a large problem because now a lot of people will have acces to things they shouldn't have that quickly. Which means that other people who aren't exploiting are at a huge disadvantage. So I heard someone comment on that. He said that people who aren't exploiting are idiots. First of all I want to tell this douchebag to go fuck himself! He's a pathetic loser that needs to exploit to get something good out of the game and is too lazy to actually work for it like the rest of us. Secondly I don't think people who play the game fair are idiots, you're actually one of the people I respect and play the game as you should. It's easy to exploit but it takes real strength and determination to get further with your own skill and patience. So let some moron blabber how dumb people are that don't exploit, just remember that exploiting is a sign of weakness and not strength. This guy will end up in a part of the game where he will be destroyed because he got too far ahead without actually earning his way to get there. So please people don't exploit a game, play fair and keep it clean!
