Summer game tip: The Sims (1,2,3 and 4)
I know that the Sims games aren't for everyone but in fact they're a lot of fun if you give them a chance. The options see endless and once you make some silly sims it's just the beginning of the fun! With all the add-ons you might lose interest but some of those really make the game so much more fun. Just think of university in the Sims 2 and 3, pets in the Sims 1, 2 and 3 or supernatural in the Sims 3. It gives the game even more things to do and helps you bring out the best in the game. The Sims games can offer you so much and you can easily make it through the Summer with just one of these games.
What's so much fun in the Sims games?
What I like a lot are the different type of sims you can create and the possibilities with creating houses and even whole towns. I can easily spend a whole day just making that perfect house, after I made that house I can spend weeks if not months playing with that one family in that house. It can be so much fun and so addicting that you can easily lose a lot of time just playing this game and to me it's not a waste of time! Things I like are the new things that you get with the add-ons, like pets, seasons, university and supernatural give you so much more than just building a house. You get a lot of new clothes, new items to fool around with or decorate your house with and new things to do in the world. With university you can pick a social group to join, so if you ever wanted to be a jock, nerd or rebel then the Sims lets you into these social groups. If you ever wanted to create your own haunted house then you can do that, even with ghosts and secret doors. What I love about the Sims games are the possibilities, it seems that almost each day I get new inspiration for something in the game. Create a certain sim, build a certain house or do something unexpected. Do you want to marry a mermaid? Done! Do you want to live on an island with only cats? Done! Do you want to build a giant forest around your house? Done! Do you want to turn into a vampire or werewolf? Done! These games give you so much to do and for me it hardly ever gets boring, but sometimes it good to take a break otherwise I'd be playing these games way too much!
Why should you play the Sims?
Because it's a fun game? But if that's not enough then it also motivates your creativity, inspires you to create new things and it lets you explore new places and do unexpected things. I think that the Sims is truly a game that is meant to be fun, there are no real challenges and eventhough there are accomplishments you can unlock, it never feels like you have to or that it truly matters. What I like so much about the Sims is that it's just fun, you can do what you want and just enjoy what you're doing. There is no competition or other people trying to ruin your fun, it's just you in a game that is fun to play. Perfect for people who like to enjoy a game on their own and lose themselves for some time in a game. Maybe the game isn't for everyone but I think everyone should try one of the Sims games, just to see how much fun it can be. The Sims games are perfect for making it through Summer, even on the hottest days. Time really flies, both in the game and in real life, when you play this game and it's a lot of fun to play. I'd say that's enough reason to check one of these games out!
