Movie Monday: I love you, man

This isn't a movie that came out recently but it's definitely a movie you would want to see if you like humour and bromance. This movie isn't the typical romantic movie where a guy and a girl get together at the end. In this movie a guy is looking for a good friend that could become his best man at his wedding. Unfortunately that's not as easy as it might be and it leads to some strange situations. But absolutely worth checking out!

An unusual problem?

 When you think of a wedding then the first problem might be when to have your wedding, who you would invite and what kind of wedding do you want to have. But for Peter Klaven things are a bit more complicated, he has no male friends so no best man for his wedding. This leads to some strange situations until he meets Sydney, a pretty laid back guy that likes to party. But how do you ask someone to be your friend? That seems simple but apparently, if we have to believe this movie, it's not that easy and it can be quite awkward at times. But Peter and Sydney get along and actually form a friendship. This leads to some awesome bro moments and it's cool to see the bond between the two guys gets stronger. So this movie isn't just funny it's also interesting to watch. Yes even for women, I mean who doesn't want to see the bromance develop between two guys? Ok I guess this movie isn't for everyone but honestly it's a funny movie!

Why should you watch this movie?

 Because it's funny? Ok that's too easy, let's say because it shows you an unusual problem and that leads the main character to some awkward moments and eventually helps him find a good friend. What I really like about this movie that it takes the basic getting married theme but does it a bit different. Instead of issues between the couple it's now about the guy not having someone to be his best man at the wedding. Which is actually quite interesting because most people would have a best man at their wedding. The journey you make with Peter and Klaven is funny, silly and at moments even a bit emotional. But keep in mind that the main idea behind this movie is humour, so don't expect too much drama in this movie! I think I love you, man is a great movie and absolutely worth checking out.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
