Youtube adventures part 26

We all have our own channel and we all make our own videos, but what kind of videos do you make? Are you going for gameplay videos, vlogs, videos about pets or maybe you make videos where you have fun with friends. There are all kinds of videos that you can make. But did you know that sometimes people also make videos to apologize?

Videos are a way of communicating?

It's odd when you think about it, people that make videos to communicate with others. The good thing about videos is that you can reach a lot of people at the same time and sometimes it makes people feel better and other times it might helps as a distraction when someone is going through a rough time. But sometimes people also upload videos to directly communicate with their subscribers or other people that watch the video.

It's not strange to make a channel update video, something I hardly ever do. This is something you can do to let people know what they can expect in the near future from your channel, which is interesting for anyone that wants to know what you'll be doing next and what kind of videos they'll get to see on your channel. Sometimes you can also use a channel update as a way to tell people something, for example when you're going to stop with youtube for some time because of personal reasons. It's better that you let people know instead of just disappearing.

There are also people that make personal videos, a video that is actually just for one person or maybe some good friends. You can select if this video is private or if others can also see it. If it's really personal I would advice you to make it private, unless you feel like sharing something personal with strangers. I personally find it weird when people share personal videos, but sometimes it's nice to know what's going on in someones life. For example if you've been subscribed to a youtuber and this person disappears for some time then it's nice to know what happened and if this person decides to talk about it then you might want to know what's going on.

Even when you upload gameplay you can still communicate with your viewers, this is something I do a lot and what I prefer to do. I find it weird to watch a video of someone playing with their friends and you as the viewer are pretty much spying on them, at least that's how it sometimes feels like when they constantly talk with eachother and you as the viewer are just watching and listening. Maybe it's just me but I like people that pretty much include you in the video, which means that they talk to the viewers and in a way make you a part of the video instead of you just being the viewer.
