Game tip: Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain

If you like stealth and an interesting story then Metal Gear Solid V might be something for you. But seriously if you like these things then why haven't you bought the game already?!!! Right now there's a sweet deal on Xboxlive where you can get Metal Gear Solid V for 20 Euros and Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes (some type of demo but it's part of the story) for 5 Euros. Those are some sweet deals and really something good to help you get through the Summer because this is the type of game that keeps you busy for quite some time if you want to get a lot of achievements!

What's so special about Metal Gear Solid V?

First of all it's a Metal Gear Solid game, so you know that it's going to be good, but of course there are no guarantees and Metal Gear Solid V definitely has some issues. But in all honesty it's a fun stealth game that works for both stealth players but also people that prefer to go in guns blazing, the mission usually gets tougher though when you alert the guards. There are a lot of fun things in this game, for example: fun companions that go with you on missions, interesting gadgets that make missions even more fun, an open world that lets you explore and discover all kinds of new things, several side missions that you can play for some nice extras, you can build up a base to your own design and make your mark on the world! Building and improving your base is one of the most fun things in the game, because here you can be original and make something unique. Other players can invade your base, well your FOB (forward operating base) which is a special base you make and that you can upgrade as well and add security or handle things personally when another player invades your base. But mostly it's the single player that I'm excited about, because it's a lot of fun!

Isn't Metal Gear Solid V only half a game?

Not exactly, I'd say it's more 2/3 of a game. Because the first part is normal, then the second part already has duplicate missions (missions you already did in the first part but that are now available on a higher difficulty) and the third part doesn't even exists. So yeah I can see why you would be worried about that. Does this ruin the game? Yes and no, sure it sucks that the game was never fully finished but you do get an ending of some sort and that isn't that bad. It doesn't really ruin the game, but it's more like a disappointment. There are also other things I'm not that happy about but I can't tell you about that because that would spoil the game for you! I do think that the game is worth checking out, especially for twenty Euros. Because the game has a lot to offer and you can have a lot of fun with this game. If you're still uncertain about Metal Gear Solid V then you can always get Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes for five Euros and if you like that then you're also going to like Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain. Just give it a chance and I think you're going to like it.
