Game tip: Pay Day 2 Crimewave edition

This game tip is a bit late but you should be able to buy it, if you really want to, before Tuesday when the offer on Xboxlive ends for gold members. Because getting this game for 12 Euros is a pretty sweet deal! Because you don't just get Pay Day 2 but also all the crimewave stuff with it as well. Which means new characters, weapons, missions and other stuff.


What makes this game fun to play?


It's fun because you can do something different, instead of being the good guy trying to stop bad guys from doing bad things you play as a bad guy robbing other people. This can happen in a store or in a huge bank, but there's a lot of different stuff in between. For example robbing a train, helping a member of your crew escape from jail and stealing cargo from a ship. These are just some examples of the new missions in Pay Day 2 Crimewave edition and it's sometimes quite a challenge to complete these missions, especially when you play solo! But why play solo when you can play with up to three other people and do things in style and hopefully with more succes.


What's new?


Well next to four new characters and a lot of new missions there are also new weapons. For example now you have sniper rifles and light machine guns, for robbers that want to use something else than a shotgun or assault rifle. There's also a higher difficulty which is called Deathwish and that name should already give you an idea how tough that is, even the easiest missions can become a nightmare with this difficulty. Also new enemies show up, for example the cloaker which is a super cop that can knock you out with one hit and will do this in a super cheating way where he will charge on you and hit you sometimes even through walls.


Is this game worth buying?


At full price I'd say it depends but with 12 Euros it's a very good deal, because you get a lot for such a low price. Besides you can play this game with your friends or other people online if you want to, but you can also play solo if that's more your thing. This game can easily make you addicted to constantly wanting to play another mission so you level up and get more new cool stuff. This game is meant to be played with others but you can play on your own if you want to, the bots aren't that smart but most of the time they will try to pick you up when you go down. I'm not saying this game is amazing, but it's definitely fun to play and it's something else than the heists in GTA V.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
