Youtube adventures part 28

Some people say that you should stop with youtube at a certain age, I don't agree with that because why would age stop you from making videos? Maybe it seems weird when a guy who is 50 talk about his passion for games but I don't think it's something you should be ashamed for nor should you be intimidated by people who say that you're too old and should leave youtube. It's ridiculous because you decide when you stop with youtube and no one else!


Age doesn't mean a thing on youtube?


When it comes to making videos then I'd say it doesn't mean a thing, because age shouldn't restrict you from making fun videos or doing something you like. So what if you're 10 and people think you have an annoying voice, if there's something you want to say or make a video about something then you do that. The same counts for people who are a bit older than the average youtuber, don't let that stop you from making a video you want to make.


Most people that will give you shit for that are often trolls, people who have nothing better to do with their life than annoying other people. If people don't like your video then they don't watch it or maybe even leave a dislike, too bad for them but it shouldn't stop you from making more videos. Do what makes you happy and as long as it makes you happy then it's not a bad thing, at least if you make fun videos and not the type of videos that hurt others.


There are so many videos on youtube that it's impossible for people to watch them all, so why not join and make some videos yourself. Maybe you like it and maybe you don't like it. If you never try you'll never know! The trick is not to worry too much about what others might think, because some people will always hate it and there's always a good chance that your video won't be noticed in the massive ocean of youtube videos. But don't let that keep you from trying, because sometimes your video will be noticed and then you want that video to be fun to watch. Who knows maybe that person wants to see more videos from you.


Age isn't really a problem on youtube, if you're really uncomfortable about it then you can always keep that a secret. You don't have to share everything with your viewers! But it's nice when you're honest and open with your viewers, this way they can get to know you a bit and they know whose videos they're watching. Maybe this seems stupid to you but it might actually help convince some people to give you a chance with your videos. But it's of course up to you what you want to share with others.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers? There is nothing wrong about being serious, but I think there is a time and a place for everything. Mortal Kombat X isn´t just another fighting game?

You´ve probably seen the announce trailer of Mortal Kombat X, then you probably also know that it shows two familiar characters fighting against eachother. At that point you´re probably still thinking that it´s just more of the same but with a better coat of paint, I understand that pessimist look and it´s not often wrong. But from what I´ve heard about Mortal Kombat X is that it´s going to be more than just a new game in the Mortal Kombat game series. What´s new? Apparently there will be more fighting styles for one character, giving everyone his or her own favourite style to use against opponents. There was something familiar in another Mortal Kombat game where they also had weapons in a fighting style, but this seems to go a bit deeper and more unique. Of course these are just words at this point, nothing has been proven just yet!
