Titanfall 2 announced!

Great news for all the Titanfall fans, there will be another Titanfall game! What´s probably even better news is that the game isn´t exclusive to the Xbox One but will also launch for the PC and Playstation 4. So everyone that missed out on the first one can catch up in the second game, which is nice because exclusive games are often a big fuck you towards gamers that play on another console.


Are people interested in Titanfall 2?


I think so, eventhough the first game was riding on a big hype train it´s still a fun game to play. I definitely had a lot of fun with it and I hope Titanfall will improve on certain parts to make it even more fun. I played Titanfall on my Xbox 360 so I don´t know how things are on the Xbox One, are people still playing Titanfall? It wouldn´t surprise me but to be honest it´s been about a year since the launch on the Xbox One so it´s not strange if people decided to move on to other games. So it´s definitely a good thing that there will be a sequel, hopefully this time with a better and more interesting campaign and hopefully an even more intense multiplayer experience.


What would you like to see in Titanfall 2?


Something I would really like to see in Titanfall 2 is a lot of customization, I want to be able to make an interesting character and with that an interesting titan. It would be cool if you could stand out on the battlefield with your awesome titan colours and some flashy gear. What I would also like if you could play as certain classes, each with their own special abilities. For example a field commander that can give orders to the computer controlled characters, assassin that can infiltrate the enemy team and an engineer that can fix objects and/or make them. Something I would also like to see is bot matches, something for me to practice in and what also works well as a warm up before I play against other players.


In short words I´m happy that there will be a sequel for Titanfall, hopefully it´s going to be a lot of fun and I´m definitely looking forward to check it out!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers? There is nothing wrong about being serious, but I think there is a time and a place for everything. Mortal Kombat X isn´t just another fighting game?

You´ve probably seen the announce trailer of Mortal Kombat X, then you probably also know that it shows two familiar characters fighting against eachother. At that point you´re probably still thinking that it´s just more of the same but with a better coat of paint, I understand that pessimist look and it´s not often wrong. But from what I´ve heard about Mortal Kombat X is that it´s going to be more than just a new game in the Mortal Kombat game series. What´s new? Apparently there will be more fighting styles for one character, giving everyone his or her own favourite style to use against opponents. There was something familiar in another Mortal Kombat game where they also had weapons in a fighting style, but this seems to go a bit deeper and more unique. Of course these are just words at this point, nothing has been proven just yet!
