The Walking Dead season 3 (game)

If you played season 1 and 2 of the Walking Dead then you're probably very excited that there is a season 3 coming! The Michonne (mini) game was a nice addition but I think most people just want to continue playing with Clementine and it seems there might at least be one other playable character, Javier.


Two playable characters?


Yes as far as I heard you can play as both Clementine and as Javier, which gives you some unique perspecitives on what's going on and it might mean that there are different endings or choices in certain situations depending who your character is. If this means that this might be the end for Clementine is a bit of a bold statement, but at the same time everyone can die at any moment in the Walking Dead...


Why should you be excited about this game?


If you played the Walking Dead season 1 and 2 then I doubt I have to explain that, but in case you're not familiar with these games then I try to explain it. In the Walking Dead you make decisions, which sometimes means who lives and who dies or if you're going to make it out alive. Some decisions are really tough and will weigh heavy on your shoulders. At the same time there is a good story in the game that wants you to keep playing and makes you hope for the best, eventhough you know that things will probably only get worse on the road ahead. Season 3 continues with this story and takes Clementine and also Javier into new situations and maybe some tough decisions.


Would you recommend this game to other people?


Absolutely! Even if you're more into first person shooters or other types of games, because the Walking Dead is the type of game that is touching at certain moments but can be unbelievably brutal at other moments. Maybe you don't like all the talking and that would be tough on you with this game because you do talk a lot, but the action makes up a lot of that and it will sometimes come down to split second decicions that you'll have to make with a press of a button. Maybe the Walking Dead game isn't for everyone but it's definitely a game I can recommend and if you finally make it all the way to season 3 then I bet you're going to be just as excited about it as a lot of other people that love these games!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
