How to survive the hot days of Summer while playing games

I hate Summer, I really hate how it's bloody hot and that every little thing I do already makes me sweat like crazy. So it's very tempting to turn on your computer or console and just play games, keep your activities to a minimum and just have a good time doing something you like to do. But is it a smart to play games when it's so hot?

When it's hot you should go outside?

This is probably what your parents would tell you as a kid but in truth I don't that this is always a good idea. Sometimes it's so hot that being outside isn't really that safe, because the hot sun can leave its marks on you if you stay too long in the open sun. So without proper protection you might be in trouble. So maybe staying inside and drinking a cool drink might be a better idea than hanging around outside. If you do decide to stay inside then why wouldn't you play games? Sure you can look outside or watch tv, but as a gamer you probably prefer to play games. At least that's how I see it. There's nothing wrong with going outside, but don't go outside just because others tell you to, because if you have a skin that can't handle the sun that well and you hate being out in the sun then it's probably smart to stay inside or at least stay in the shade.

What kind of games should you play when it's warm?

Well it would be funny if you play a game that takes place in the snow, for example a first person shooter with a map that's in an area with snow or you could play a snowboarding game. But that doesn't really make you cool though. My advice would be to stick to games that make you comfortable, so games that don't make you upset or that frustrate you because that makes you warmer. Just a fun game that makes you happy to play and not unhappy, because when you're happy you stay cool easier while when you're upset you get warmer and that's exactly what you want to avoid! So playing competitive multiplayer might be a bad idea, mostly because tensions usually run high in those games. Instead you should play some single player games or a co-op multiplayer game, preferably with friends to keep things friendly. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, just have a good time doing something you enjoy doing. Hopefully that keeps you cool and with a some cold drinks you should be fine!
