Gears of War 4 will be better than Gears of War 3?
After Gears of War Judgement I don't think a lot of Gears of War fans thought there would be another Gears of War game. I actually liked Gears of War Judgement but unfortunately the majority didn't. But Gears of War 4 was announced and people got excited but at the same time they're also a bit cautious because what if this game is going to be just like Gears of War Judgement? And could Gears of War 4 be better than Gears of War 3? It seems impossible but don't be surprised if this game is going to be better than you think!
What is Gears of War 4?
From what I heard so far it takes place a couple of decades after Gears of War 3 and you play as the son of Marcus Fenix (main character from the previous three Gears of War game, Gears of War Judgement not counting) called JD and will have to fight the Locust again. At least the creatures look like Locust but then again what do I really know. You once again are a part of a team and hopefully that also means that you can play as other characters in your team, just like Gears of War Judgement, without having to play with other people. Of course there is also multiplayer and it looks as brutal as ever!
Multiplayer is new and refreshed?
I guess you could call it that, but it's not that new. I mean it's still pretty much the same as you expect but with some new tricks and a new game mode. A new trick in multiplayer is that you can pull an enemy out of cover if you're on the other side of that cover, it's a good way to surprise an enemy and deliver him or her a deadly shotgun blast to the face! A new game mode is dodgeball where people that are killed are out of the match until a member of the other team gets killed and then one of your team gets back in the match. So even if you're the last one of the team you can still bring your team mates back, it's going to be tough but it's not impossible. Multiplayer is pretty much the fun and quick gameplay that a lot of people like, so I think the fans will get what they want with this. If you're not that much of a competitive player or you just want some practice you can play against bots and you can level up there as well.
Will Gears of War 3 be better than Gears of War 3?
That will be difficult because Gears of War 3 is a very good and fun game, also the story is pretty impressive with some amazing and tragic moments that make it absolutely unforgettable. So I doubt that Gears of War 4 can beat that but then again Gears of War 4 can surprise you. In one of the trailers I saw JD run at the house of his parents and I get the feeling something bad happened there, so maybe Gears of War 4 will have its fair share of amazing moments and tragedy as well. I know that I'm excited about this game and I can't wait to play it. Gears of War 4 will launch on the 11th of October 2016.
