The return of Claire Redfield?

Have you seen the latest Resident Evil Revelations 2 trailer? In this trailer you can see Claire being kidnapped and then she has to escape some type of unpleasant place. Maybe it´s that prison, you know the one you saw in an early screenshot. Who knows, what I do know is that this one looks creepy and it might be that we´re going back to less action and more horror!


Why Claire and not Jill as the main character? I guess Jill has had her moment in the spotlights for quite some time, ok she wasn´t in Resident Evil 6 but she´s the main character in Resident Evil Revelations and I know that the Resident Evil developers like to switch with main characters in their games. As you probably know when you look at Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2. Some might not like Claire, others might love her, but she´s a tough young woman that can handle some zombies. So I doubt that this game will be bad, I just hope it´s not going to be a babysit adventure as the last two games with Claire (yes I consider Steve from Resident Evil Code Veronica X as a baby!). I personally prefer Jill over Claire but I also like Chris more than Leon, the first Resident Evil game is my favourite. But I don´t think that means that I won´t like this game and why would I? So far I´ve seen a short trailer and that´s it, no gameplay and no idea what´s going on.


Is this a sequel to Resident Evil Revelations? I don´t know, I mean you´d expect that with the 2 but that doesn´t have to mean anything. I did hear that Jill might be in the game, just not as the main character. So it might be that you continue the story from the first game. But if this takes place after what happened in the lost in nightmares dlc then I´m not surprised that Jill isn´t the main character in this game. Hopefully there are some more familiar faces, maybe even Wesker?


This game will be released on the last generation consoles (Xbox 360 and Playstation 3) and on the current generation consoles (Xbox One and Playstation 4). So it seems nobody has to miss out on this game, well maybe a die hard pc gamer but it wouldn´t surprise me if it appeared on the pc as well. It´s scheduled for 2015 so it seems we have to wait a little bit longer!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
