Destiny, a week later...

It´s now a week after the launch of Destiny and I´m still having a lot of fun playing it! But I´ve heard several people that are disappointed or some that even dislike the game, maybe they expected more or something else? That doesn´t take away that still a lot of people play this game, almost everywhere I go there are other players and it doesn´t take long to find a multiplayer match. So it seems that´s not a problem. I´ll try to answer some questions here, at least things I heard that are unclear to some people.

What do you do once you hit level 20? It doesn´t take you that long to reach level 20, even when you don´t play a lot it´s just a matter of time. So the game will tell you that you reached max level at 20 but that you can level up further if you equip the light in your armor. What does that mean? This means that you have to find armor pieces with light fragments in them, they´ll show up as stats like strength, intelligence and discipline. If you´ve got enough total light points then you´ll advance to level 21 and so on and on. You can find these light fragments already in rare (blue) armor, but it´s better to equip exotic (yellow) or legendary (purple) armor. You can also upgrade your armor and that will also improve the amount of light a bit. So the more light you have the further you level up.

What is the best way to level up or get these light fragments? If you want to level up fast then I advice you to play in the crucible and get some multiplayer bounties, you can get bounties from the guardian tower and this will often get you a lot of experience. The same counts for bounties in missions, with some bounties you can get 5000 experience and that´s just one! You can have up to five bounties at once and if you play it smart you´ll level up quickly. You have a better chance to find armor with light in it in mission on the hard difficulty, especially if you pick level 20 hard. But you can also play strike missions or even in the crucible you can get armor with light in it. But it´s all random and there is no guarantee that you´ll get some. This means you´ll have to farm a lot and this isn´t the most exciting thing to do.

How do you get legendary armor and weapons? If you´re lucky you´ll find some in a random drop, but you can also buy it from your vanguard mentor and there are representatives from certain groups that offer this to you. But before you can buy that you´ll need a certain reputation, often level 2 reputation, and this also takes time. You also need crucible and vanguard marks. You earn these by playing strike missions or just crucible matches. Once again this takes some time and you can only earn a hundred in one week. It seems rough but this is the way it is right now, apparently Bungie doesn´t want you to level up too quickly at the last part!
