Destiny will fail?

I think under every Destiny trailer and anything related to Destiny there are always some people that hate this game and what to spread their hate for this game. Wether these are trolls, ´popular´ people just giving their opinion or losers that have nothing better to is unclear. But these next couple of days will be interesting as a lot of people will play or try to play (you never know with these online servers when it comes to consoles) Destiny.


Why would Destiny fail? That´s easy, because people have high expectations and so many people have been praising this game for so long that at this point it could only disappoint. Unless the game is actually that good, I don´t know because I haven´t played it yet. I think the first disappointment will be trouble getting online, because no matter how great a game is when you can´t get online to play it then it still sucks! Do you remember GTA Online? Well this will probably be even worse, but maybe you´re lucky and you find a way through. Another thing I heard is that the game is difficult to play solo and yes in any mmorpg it´s always better to play with others but what if you´re not that type of gamer? Are you going to be forced to play with others? No not like that, but I think they´ve put a lot of subtle ways to push you towards others. Maybe that´s for the best, but I can imagine that some people just want to play solo and might have a hard time making progress.


This isn´t something that worries me that much, I mean most of the arguments I´ve heard why this game will fail are from sad sacks of shit. Nothing that has any value at all! Bungie has made a game that is breaking records, that shows a lot of promise and that will probably be a lot of fun to play. I guess disappointment is probably going to be a personal experience and not a worldwide experience. We all have our own opinion and we all like different things, but in a game as big as Destiny I´d expect there to be plenty of room for so many things people can like.


I don´t think this game will fail, I think that even people that hate it so much in the comment section of any Destiny video will eventually play it if they haven´t already. Maybe if you hate first person shooters and the mmorpg type of games then you probably have a good reason not to be interested in this game, otherwise I´m not convinced that people actually hate the game. Anyway it´s too early to say that Destiny will succeed or fail. A lot of people will always hate on a game and there will also be a lot of people that will defend a game, I guess it´s a way to keep things in balance and make certain we don´t crash into the sun.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
