Exclusive games are dumb?
Sometimes you see this amazing game and you really want to play it, but then you discover it's an exclusive game and if you really want to play it then you have to buy a console or another console. There was a time and a place that I did such things but I stopped with that because it's a waste of money and is one game truly worth buying a console or another console? In my opinion it's not, because one game isn't enough and five games isn't even enough. I think you should stick with whatever works best for you. So as a PC gamer you might want to stick to your PC and if you're console gamer then why would you want to buy the other console? Maybe if you have money burning a hole in your pocket it might be tempting but otherwise I would suggest to stick with what you have.
Why are there exclusive games?
That's actually quite obvious, it's a way for Sony or Microsoft to get you to buy their console. Even Nintendo is known for these type of pranks or did you think I bought the Gamecube because I love playing Mario so much? Nope it was for the Resident Evil remake, such a great game but at that time an exclusive game for the Nintendo Gamecube. I did the same with the Xbox, I bought that console just to be able to play Fable and I wasn't disappointed with the game but then I had three consoles, I already had the Playstation 2, and that made it difficult to pick a console to play on. I would often choose the Playstation 2 as my main console to play games on but certain exclusives would have to be played on other consoles. It really sucks when this happens, that amazing game that you really want to play but it's not available on your console. I stopped buying multiple consoles when I bought the Xbox 360, I was done with the whole nonsense of getting multiple consoles and constantly switching between them. Not that it's so confusing but I prefer to stick with one console I'm happy with than to constantly switch between them. I never regretted sticking with my Xbox 360, sure it wasn't the strongest or even the best console but I had no complaints with it.
No more exclusive games?
That would be great, unfortunately it's not reality because these exclusive games are helping, especially Sony, sell a lot of consoles or help bring people to that specific console. I'm not going to lie, Sony has a lot of cool exclusive games that I would like to play but I'm not going to buy a Playstation 4. I really hate how this is a manipulation game for these type of companies how the gamer is being pushed to buy a certain console just to be able to play the game he or she really wants to play. I'm done with that and I stick with what I have, I made a choice and it wasn't the Playstation 4. If someone else has a Playstation 4 and is happy with that then that's good for that person. If a console is really that great then I don't think it needs exclusive games, but I guess desperate acts will always be a part of these kind of companies. The same counts for Microsoft where they also have some exclusives, except their line of exclusives isn't that impressive. It's a shame that this is what it turns into. I really wish that all games would be available for all platforms, let people pick their own platform and do their own thing. But I guess it's more fun for the big companies to try and screw eachother over and the gamers are treated like mindless fools. Thanks guys, I appreciate it...
