Will all the bugs and glitches ever be fixed in the Sims 4 console edition?
We're a month further and there is still no update for the Sims 4 console edition, there are still bugs and glitches that make it very frustrating to play the game and somehow the developers are ignoring that. What's worse is that they release more dlc content without first fixing the previous content, which means you probably get more bugs and glitches into your game with the new dlc. It's like the developers just really don't give a flying fuck about the players and the issues in the game, let's just make some money!
New dlc means more bugs and glitches?
In the Winter sale I bought some more Sims 4 dlc, maybe not the smartest move but I like playing the Sims 4 (at least when everything is working) and getting the dlc for a cheaper price was something I couldn't resist. But with new dlc I also got new bugs and glitches, for example whenever I let my sims use the karaoke machine the game seems to freak out a bit, I've even had the game shut down without any reason at all when I used the karaoke machine. Sometimes when you let a sims sing you keep hearing that sim sing even when he or she is done. There is also a job glitch now, the job will sometime appear as that you don't have to work on the current day until suddenly out of nowhere you suddenly do have to work. The waiting time between actions and during actions have also gotten worse. I literally couldn't have a conversation with another sim because for every interaction I made with the other sim I would have to wait thirty seconds. I can tell you that this sucks and it's absolutely not fun to play the game with all this nonsense. I'm pretty certain that I haven't even discovered half of the issues so it wouldn't surprise me that there are more issues with the game and the dlc. Honestly why isn't this being tested and why isn't there a patch to fix all these issues?!!!
Will we ever get a patch for the Sims 4 that will fix everything?
I'm probably being a pessimist here but I have a bad feeling about it. We're two months after launch and there are still issues in the game I had from the start, some have been fixed but others are still there. The game is just not running very smooth, it has a lot of issues and that makes me wonder if it just doesn't run that good on console. If that's the problem then that would explain it. But then you would wonder why they would release a half baked product? Oh right for the money, because there are always suckers, myself included, that will pay. I think that the developers need to fix the game, try to patch things up as good as they can and make the Sims 4 a fun experience and not a frustrating experience. I really want to enjoy the game but right now that's just very difficult. With all the issues I just lose interest in playing and the new dlc just doesn't matter now if I can't play the game without having to deal with all the bugs and glitches. It's a shame that the game is like this because I would love to play it if I could have a game without bugs and glitches, but as long as it is like this then it's just not fun to play. Let's just hope that we get a patch soon that will fix everything or at least the majority of all the bugs and glitches.
