YouTube adventures -63- Can you say it or not?

When you record a video you sometimes say things that aren't really nice and there are even times you say things aren't accepted. So it's up to you to decide if you want to keep that in the video or not. The safe choice is to just cut it out or bleep yourself but there are people that like to keeps things raw and just keep everything in it. This does raise a question...

Can you say something bad or not in your videos?

I think YouTube can be incredibly childish about certain things and certain games are also very lame about certain words. For example when I wanted to name my group in Injustice 2 Daemons from Hell the game just refused that because apparently hell is a bad word. I don't know if this is just an American thing, Americans are really weird about these things, or if people around the word think it's a bad word. The strangest thing is that it's fine to kill people in a game, sometimes with extreme executions and even the moments where you can go on a killing spree on innocent npcs in the game. But the moment you say shit they would bleep you or if you want to use a word like hell for a group name they seem to freak the fuck out. Maybe things are different for me, in the Netherlands nobody really cares if you say shit, fuck or hell on tv or anywhere really. It's not very polite but considering that a guy made love to the queen, he pretended to on stage, was accepted and it caused no problems then you know that people in this country seem to be quite tolerant about certain things. But at the same time every country has its own issues, what might seem good in one place can be bad in another and vice versa.

I sometimes use the f word, I'll try to keep it a bit polite here, when a guy screws me over in a game. For example someone shoots you in the back, camps around the corner or get the power weapon just before me. I would quickly call this guy the f word, mostly because in my logic he screwed me and when a guy screws another guy then that would make that guy gay. So it's easy to fall back to the f word. I try to stop with that but in the heat on the moment, when I'm really annoyed or pissed, I say these type of dumb things. It's never my intention to be the asshole that says all kinds of dumb things, but sometimes you do say these things because you're annoyed or even mad. It's not really an excuse but it does make you say things you would normally not say.

If I do use bad words, words I know that are bad to say to others, then I try to hold back or quickly move on from that. I really wish I was this super calm, relaxed and totally chill dude. Unfortunately I'm not and when I get upset I say dumb things, I don't contact this guy and let him or her know how much I dislike this person but on camera I've said some stupid things. Sometimes it's so bad I know that I can't post that video. No matter how upset you are there are limits and I don't want to turn my channel into how to insult people in a million ways. I'm mostly ranting in my room anyway, so the only people who would hear it are my neighbours unless they're at work. But when I would post a video online with my ranting then people will think I'm an idiot and I would make a complete fool out of myself. Well maybe some people already think I'm an idiot and that's fine, it's a free world and people can think whatever they want! All I'm saying is that sometimes you might want to tone things down and even if the gameplay in the video was good you don't want to upload you being an utter douchebags with all the insults. Maybe some people enjoy that but I doubt that the majority of all the viewers out there will like it. I'm not saying that you should keep things PG, but maybe know that sometimes it's better to bite your tongue than to go on another rant.
