Red Dead Redemption 2 delay is a good thing?

I know this sounds weird but it's actually a good thing because now the developers can put more time into the game and hopefully get all the bugs and glitches out. Hopefully this gives us, the players, a good game that is a lot of fun to play! But it's still rough because I was really looking forward to play Red Dead Redemption 2...

Delaying a game is a good thing?

If you've ever played a game that was rushed, for example a movie game that had to come out at the same time the movie came out, or played a game that is just full of bugs and glitches then you know how frustrating these games can be. I would rather wait another year and have a good game in my hands than get the game on the original release date and have a broken piece of shit game. It's a disappointment but one that you'll get over eventually, it's not like Red Dead Redemption is the only interesting game that's coming out this year and you could also think of saving some money on one game and spend it on another game. When a game is being delayed then it's not to bully the gamers, it's because the game needs more time before it's ready for launch. When you're impatient then this can give you that frustrating feeling of needing the game now, but when you think of how frustrated you would be if the game was released this year and it was completely unplayable then you probably wished that it was delayed. I'm not a patient man but I do realize why we have to wait and why it's a good thing. Besides there are a lot of other games you can play this year because so far 2017 has been a good year for games!

The wait is going to be worth it?

I think it is! Keep in mind that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a big game with a huge open world and the same type of online multiplayer as in GTA V Online. This means that a lot of things can go wrong and a lot of things need to be checked. You don't want a Friday the 13th issue where nobody on consoles seems to be able to find matches in quickplay. When you release a big game like Red Dead Redemption 2 then you want it to be good, no you want to try and make it perfect! This means it takes time and a lot of testing, so when things aren't going according to plan then you can either hold on to the original release date and risk releasing a bad game or delay the game and try to make things better and give the players a game they're going to enjoy! I trust Rockstar to deliver a good game to players, they wouldn't want to release a game that isn't good and if that means to delay the game then they will. Maybe next year there will be another delay but I'm saying that it will be worth it, because certain games take a lot of time to get them ready and once you're able to play that game then you'll probably agree that it was worth it or perhaps at that point you no longer care that you had to wait longer for the game. Rockstar has a good reason to delay a game and I'm glad that they delay it instead of releasing a game that isn't good. Nobody wants a half finished game or a game full of bugs and glitches. That's not fun and it will ruin your experience with that game. At this point I can only speculate but I have faith in Rockstar that they can make a fun game and I will be waiting till next year and hopefully then we can all play this new game!
