GTA V Online Gunrunning dlc is worth checking out?
Rockstar gives the players of GTA V Online new dlc for free and it makes a lot of people happy, but the problem with this dlc is that it contains a lot of stuff that is very expensive and makes it only something for a few people that are willing to spend real money on it or people that have nothing better to do with their time and grind the fuck out of the game for money. So the question is, is the gunrunning dlc worth checking out or not?
Is it worth it to check out the gunrunning dlc?
The clothing is a bit disappointing in this dlc, nothing really that makes me happy or a look that I would go for. But the vehicles are pretty cool, once again you have a lot of brutal and quick ways to eliminate your opponents but unfortunately the prices are once again also super expensive. Just buying the bunker, how you get started with the gunrunning dlc, is already expensive and then you need to pay money for buying supplies, the same as with the biker business, or you can try to steal some but that would mean you have to go out in the open and most likely some random douchebag will shoot the shit out of you just because he or she thinks it's funny. This is probably the biggest problem with the gunrunning dlc, once more you have to play in a public lobby to do anything. As you probably know public lobbies are the worst in GTA V Online, there are so many people there that will constantly kill you and annoy you for no other reason than for their own amusement. Which is a really frustrating and irritating experience for anyone that wants to do some missions or just drive around a bit. So is it worth checking out the gunrunning dlc? Well maybe if you're rich, as in you have millions of Dollars at your disposal in the game, or if you have friends that help you when some asshole keeps trying to kill you or try to ruin your fun. If you don't have a lot of money and no friends to help you then you can pretty much ignore the gunrunning dlc, it's just going to be a frustrating and lame experience. Sure you can try to grind and earn enough money to buy the bunker, the mobile command center and all the materials you need for upgrading and improving things in the bunker but you really have to wonder if it's worth it and in my opinion it's not.
What should be different?
The gunrunning missions should be available in private lobbies as well, this would solve so many problems and you could finally just go for certain things without having to deal with people that will try to make your GTA V Online experience the worst you can have. Also does everything need to be that expensive? I mean the rocket bike that makes you fly is almost 3 million Dollars!!! Are you kidding me?!!! Even the most expensive house in the game doesn't even come close to that amount of money. It's like Rockstar doesn't know what to do with the stuff they create and just puts prices on it that seem reasonable to someone who doesn't mind buying the shark cards every month and blowing 50 Dollars/Euros of real money on the game. Maybe some people think it's worth it, I don't think it's worth it. Also let's not forget that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming out next year with a new online mode so why waste more money on this game when you can already save up for a new game next year? It's just a thought...
