Xbox One X, the future for gamers?

Just when you think a console can't look any better we get the Xbox One X, a console that earns to be called one sexy mother fucker! But it's not just about the looks, people are of course interested what's so impressive about this new console. Isn't this just another boosted Xbox One? Sure you could say that, but keep in mind that boosted would be the understatement of the year! Before I talk about the console I would like to mention that I'm not a tech nerd, so all the technical details you will have to get from someone else. I just want to talk about the console and what kind of impact it will have on the future for gamers.

Not just another Xbox One?

Nope, this console can give you true 4K gaming. I know not everyone knows what this means, I doubt I even know exactly what this means, but it comes down to being able to play games in 4K quality. Of course not every game can give you that, so don't expect every game you play on the Xbox One X to be that amazing. But the fact that there is a console that can deliver such high quality and boost the quality of older games is really cool. I don't even really care about graphics, if I have to be honest with you, but it's nice if a console can make things look pretty. What's very interesting about the Xbox One isn't just that it's the most powerful console out there at this moment but also that it's the smallest Xbox console so far. What truly surprised me is that the price for this new console is 500 Dollars/Euros. I know that this is still a lot of money but when you look at what this console can do it's actually not that expensive at all. Just buy some expensive graphic cards for your PC and you know what expensive really means! You can also play your Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Xbox games on the Xbox One X. The new console will boost the performance and graphics so you have even more fun with your 'old' games.

Is it worth buying the Xbox One X?

That is the real question, isn't it? Do I want to buy the new console when I already have the Xbox One or Playstation 4? Well that's up to you, I personally don't feel the urge to buy the Xbox One X. Why? Because I already have the Xbox One and to just get a graphic update for the games I can also play on my Xbox One isn't worth the money. What's worse is that I would have to buy a 4K tv as well, the tv I'm using now isn't even three years old so it's ridiculous that I would buy all that just for some better graphics. I do see myself buying the new console eventually but right now I'm not convinced yet. If there would be some type of trade where I could trade my Xbox One in for the Xbox One X and get a nice discount then things would be a bit more interesting. Of course that won't happen so I will hold on to my Xbox One for now. Why upgrade when you're happy with what you have?

Xbox One X is the future for gamers?

It looks like it, eventhough I have heard some mixed opinions. Some people are really excited and want to buy it the moment it becomes available while others couldn't care less. Why upgrade when you already have a pretty good console? Xbox One X isn't really the replacement of the Xbox One, it's an upgrade and not everyone is interested in upgrades. I also think it's a dumb move of Microsoft to launch the Xbox One X so quickly after the Xbox One. They should've waited a couple of more years, give people more time with their Xbox One and give them at least the feeling that they didn't just waste money on a console that got an upgrade just a couple of years later. Microsoft probably thinks they did the right thing but it feels like the wrong thing to me, at least right now. But the truth is that Xbox One X represents the future, it's faster and it looks prettier. So who can say no to that? Probably a lot of people who don't care about performance and grahpics but when the games move up, as in they are only available for the Xbox One X, the gamers will have to follow if they want to play the newest games. But as long as I can play new Xbox One games on my Xbox One then I'm happy with the way things are now. The Xbox One X is the future, but I'm happy with the present which is my Xbox One.
