Far Cry 5 might be the best one so far?
I don't know about you but I like games that take place in more familiar environments. When I'm in a jungle or hanging around on a mountain then it couldn't be further away from my country, there are no jungles or mountains here. But now we have a Far Cry game that takes place in Montana, with farms and cows! Well we do have those here, so maybe this is the Far Cry game that is going to be the best one? At least that's my opinion.
Junior sheriff in action?
In Far Cry 5 you play as junior sheriff and have to deal with a cult that is causing for a lot of trouble in your county. There isn't much known about the character you play though, I've heard some people speculate that you can create your own character but I'm not so certain about that myself. It would be cool though, if you can fully customize your character then you can't complain that the character is lame unless you consider yourself as lame if you make him or her look like you! In Hope County, in the state Montana in the USA, you are on your own and have to fight to survive and hopefully defeat the crazy cult that's hanging around there under the watchful eyes of the Seed family. But you're not on your own completely. In some separate trailers you could see some helpful characters. The characters they showed are a waitress, a pilot and a priest of some sort that have had enough of the cult in their town!
Redneck Rampage?
That's actually a game, did you know that? But no I don't think this is the same type of game. I know that some people got upset with how this makes Christianity look like it's bad but keep in mind that these cultists aren't Christians but a bunch of sick scumbags with their own twisted version of the bible. It's up to you to stop them and I doubt that's going to be easy because this isn't some lame cult in the basement of someones mother but a violent and large cult that doesn't take prisoners! There is one similarity with the game Redneck Rampage, in both games are cows!
What makes this game so interesting?
I think this game looks really good, not just the graphics but also the environment looks really interesting. I don't think we've had a Far Cry game in this setting and it looks pretty good. But don't worry, I think Far Cry 5 is using the same mechanics from Far Cry 3 and 4 so you I wouldn't worry too much about that. You still climb in towers or just high places to scout ahead and there are going to be outposts as well. The animals are going to be a bit different though, I mean there are no exotic creatures in Montana for as far as I know but you can expect bears, wolves and cows. I really like the setting of Far Cry 5, fighting against crazy cultists in a small town and racing around a farm seems like a lot of fun to me. Maybe I'm not in the majority here but I think that Far Cry 5 is going to be very interesting and I will definitely keep an eye on this game!
