Xbox One Slim and the Playstation 4.5
Sometimes I really hate consoles and all the bullshit that comes with them. Just look at the Xbox One Slim and the Playstation 4.5 (eventhough this new playstation console hasn't been officially been confirmed at this time) that offer more than your standard Xbox One and Playstation 4 console but it would require you to buy a new expensive console. This is probably good news for people who haven't bought one of the new consoles but it's not such good news for people who have bought a new console. Why? Because it feels a lot like a load of bullshit! Oh you want a new and improved console? Well you'll have to pay the full price for that or you can just hold on your standard version that will most likely not be as impressive as the new version.
New consoles are part of the deal?
I know how it works, consoles don't last a lifetime and eventually you'll have to upgrade. But when you get this new version of a console you already have it just feels like Microsoft and Sony are trying to squeeze out some extra money out of their loyal customers. The one thing I hate the most is that this feels like something they could've done before launching their new console or they could've waited a couple of years and install all the new stuff in the new console and then launch it. But no first the new console is launched and then a couple of years later they launch the same console but then a bit better. Wow, just fucking wow! What's the worst about this is that there will be a lot of people that will just buy the new version console and feed the hungry for money assholes. It's great when some people have all the money to buy whatever they want, but there are people who don't have that and it's for these people that it really sucks that when they finally were able to buy the new console that there is a new version of that console coming with more power, better performance and more memory so you can install more games. It's unfair but that's how it works with consoles, you either stick with what you have or you constantly upgrade until you spend all your money on that type of nonsense.
Aren't new consoles good news?
Oh sure if you want to spend your money on something you already have or better said on something that should've been what you bought. Of course I like that these new consoles are more powerful but the part where I have to buy that again and then have a console I won't be using anymore and in a way just wasted hundreds of Euros on feels like a total waste. But PC gamers know all about that, because for your PC things are even worse. I mean one month you get the newest and latest tech for your PC and then a month or two later there's already something better. I personally don't give a flying fuck about the best or the newest stuff, I just want to be able to play games and have fun. Which is the main reason why I usually stay out of the buying the newest tech or consoles bullshit. But I know a lot of people will buy the new consoles and that just makes things worse, but unfortunately that's how it is and how it will always be. So if you already have the Xbox One and/or Playstation 4 then you might want to think real hard before you want to buy the new versions of these consoles, because the Xbox One Slim and Playstation 4.5 might look impressive but who knows what will come out in a couple of years from now? Are you going to spend money on that as well? I'll say this about it, rather you than me!
