Quantum Break, tv show or game?

I must admit that at first I was a bit confused with this game, I mean at one point you see actual actors play in a show and then you control a character in a game. So what is it? Well it's both, but mostly it's a game with something extra. So if you can appreciate the extra story content to be with real actors then you're in luck, if you don't like that and still want to play this game then I hope for you that you can skip those parts.

What can you expect from Quantum Break?

At first I thought I figured this game out, I thought it would be the type of Alan Wake game (but in this game it's about time) with some moments where you see real actors play the parts from the game. But then I saw a gameplay video and that completely changed everything, because it seems this game is faster and less story gameplay and more action gameplay. What I mean with that is that the gameplay is faster and more based on killing enemies quickly with powers you have instead of using the environment and using other items to help you get past a group of enemies. Also Alan Wake is a survival horror game while Quantum Break is more action/adventure. That doesn't mean that Quantum Break will be lame, I think that there is enough story to keep you satisfied while you also have some gameplay moments that definitely remind you that you're actually playing a game. If this will reall go well together remains to be seen, but I'm definitely interested!

Is the gameplay that different from other games?

It kind of is, because with your time powers you can really change things in this game. For example if you freeze enemies they become easy targets but you can also slow them down to make certain you can evade their bullets and then shoot some back if you see an opening. There are also enemies in the game that have their own time powers, so don't think you can breeze through this game, you still need to take cover and keep yourself from harm because I doubt you're going to be very tough when you already have time powers! It's also a game with choices, so let someone live at one point and you might see this person later in the game again while killing that person will remove that person from the story. What I also find interesting is that there is at least one moment where you play as the main villain from the story, he also has time powers and you can make decisions with him that will affect the game and story as well. In a way you can make it harder on you when you play as the main hero character, but at the same time also make it a bit easier but it always comes with a price. I think Quantum Break definitely brings something fresh into the world of games, hopefully it's going to be as good as I hope it will be!
