The 2 TB harddrive for the Xbox One and Xbox 360!
One of the biggest issues I had on my Xbox 360 was the lack of space, I only had about 15 GB of space on my harddrive so you can imagine that this didn't leave much room for different types of games. Which meant a lot of installing and removing of data, sometimes also installing data again if you got rid of it but I wanted to play the game again or I downloaded new dlc. That's not fun and I would recommend to always go for the most harddrive space as possible. Which means at this moment the 1 TB consoles, Xbox One and Playstation 4 have this option for you. But what if you could keep your 'old' console and just install a game drive that allows you to have up to 2 TB? Sounds good to me!
What are you talking about?
I'm talking about the Seagate game drive that you can plug into your Xbox One and Xbox 360 and it allows you to store up to an extra 2 TB. Which means you can install a load of games and dlc before you run out of space on your harddrive. This is perfect for gamers that play a lot of games and also invest in dlc. So no more installing games with then the risk of having to remove the data when you get new games or dlc. Because nobody wants to sit and wait to install the same game twice just because you ran out of space earlier and now you have to install it again if you want to play the game again.
So 500 GB or 1 TB isn't enough?
Let's be honest, is it ever enough? I don't think so, because as long as you keep playing games you have the need for more space to install all that data. I'd say your average game will require about 30 GB on harddrive space so you can imagine that you're going to run out of space with your standard 500 GB (about 33% of that space is already taken by system data so that leaves you with even less available space) pretty quickly and 1 TB will buy you more time but eventually (Let's say if you have between the twenty and thirty games plus dlc) that you'll run out of space. So having more space available for you to install games and dlc is a good thing!
How does it work?
Well you plug in the game drive and you're done, this works on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. So if you need more space then that's a good way to get it. So you don't have to buy the 1 TB console, if you haven't done that already, and you can just enjoy playing games without having to worry about available space for quite some time. I think the price for the Seagate game drive is about 110 Dollars and if it's by the Xboxlive way of comparing Dollars and Euros then it will be about the same price in Euros (hopefully not). So it's a bit of an investment but perfect for gamers that need more space on their harddrive and don't feel like buying a new console with more harddrive space or keep removing games they already installed.
