Black Ops 3 Beta madness!

I hope that you've pre-ordered Black Ops 3 for the PS 4 so you can now play the beta with other people online, which means some multiplayer madness and getting familiar with the controls. But Xbox One and PC gamers get their chance next week on the 26th of August, so if you can wait that long then you should be ok.

It's fast but not that fast?

From what I've seen in the beta the character you control doesn't move as fast as in CoD Advanced Warfare, so that keeps things relatively normal. Sure you can run on walls and you still have increased movement abilities, higher jumps and faster interactions with the environment, which helps you move quicker and gives you the chance to surprise an enemy. Your gun is also ready to fire most of the time, so if you're quick on the trigger and keep your aim balanced then you should be lethal out there! It's like Treyarch tried to find a middle between the quick Advanced Warfare and the familiar CoD games from the past. It definitely looks interesting and I'm willing to give this game a chance, but I must admit that CoD games haven't interested me as much in these last couple of years. The last CoD game I played a lot was Black Ops 2, so hopefully Black Ops 3 will be even more fun to play!

What is a specialist?

A specialist is a type of soldier that you can unlock and then you play as that character, there's a total of 8 (if I'm not mistaken) and in the beta there are 4 available (once you unlock them) for you to play. They have a unique callsign and the first one is Ruin (has two spikes he can plant in the ground that creates a shockwave that kills enemies at close range and he has an overdrive that lets him run faster), then there's Prophet (has the tempest gun that instantly kills enemies and can hit multiple people with one shot if they're standing next to eachother, you can also rewind your position with a type of travel power but how that exactly works is still a bit of a mystery to me), the next one is Outrider (she has a compound bow that instantly kills enemies in an explosion and she has the ability to see enemies in close proximity through walls for a short time) and the last playable specialist is Battery (she has a grenade launcher to blow up enemies or flush them out of a hiding spot and kinetic armor that makes her invulnerable to bullets for a short time but she's still vulnerable to headshots and explosions).

What do you think of this game?

I think Black Ops 3 looks pretty impressive, it's fun and it gives players the option to try new tactics to surprise opponents. Sure haters say that Black Ops 3 is the love child of Titanfall and Destiny but since when do you listen to haters? Of course a CoD game gets hate, but don't let that keep you from checking out this game. If not in the beta then keep an eye on it later this year because you might like it if you're a fan of first person shooters that are a bit faster and chaotic then what you would normally expect. If you're still not certain if you should buy this game then check the videos online and see for yourself, a lot of people make videos every day to keep you informed and that should help you decide if this game is something you would like.
