Looking back at.....Assassin's Creed Revelations!
A lot people love the Ezio story in the Assassin's Creed games, with the conclusion of his story in AC Revelations you can imagine that a lot of people really wanted to play this game. But did this game deliver? Well let's find out by taking a closer look!
The end of an adventure.
If you played Assassin's Creed 2, AC Brotherhood and then AC Revelations then you're pretty much invested in the main character Ezio. You've seen him at happy moments and at terrible moments, you probably laughed and maybe even cried with Ezio. It's really a great adventure that comes to an end in AC Revelations. You start in Constantinopel, now better known as Istanbul, and fight your way through templar conspiarcies and investigate the tracks of another assassin called Alataïr (the main character from the first Assassin's Creed game). What's absolutely fun is that you can also play as Altaïr and see what happened to him. So in a way it doesn't just end one story but actually two stories. Both stories seem to be connected and it's for the player the find out what's going on.
Multiplayer.
What I also really like about AC Revelations is the multiplayer, it works well and gives you the chance to test your skills against other players. It's actually a lot of fun to see how you can trick other players and beat them with some nice moves. One of my favourite moves is the decoy, this let's you make a decoy of yourself that runs away and a lot of people fall for that and attack the decoy leaving them exposed to a counter from you. But you can also be more agressive with bombs or poison darts. The more style and skill in your execution the more points you get. But in the top three you'll get more hunters that try to kill you and that makes it harder for you to get your next target.
Great game!
I can definitely recommend this game to you, especially if you played AC 2 and AC Brotherhood because this game fits nicely with those games and ends the story of Ezio. If you've never played an Assassin's Creed game then I can recommend starting with AC 2 or even the first Assassin's Creed game, get familiar with it and work your way to AC Revelations. It's worth your time and it's absolutely a lot of fun!
