Destiny dlc news!
Are you still playing Destiny? Have you played the dark below expansion or plan to do so later? Then you might be interested in the latest Destiny dlc news! Someone leaked a picture of Destiny dlc planned for 2015, which means a busy year for all the Destiny fans!
What can we expect in 2015?
A lot! First there is the house of wolves expansion that is supposedly going to launch in March, then in September there is a huge expansion (which might be sold on discs as well) called Comet: plague of darkness. Then there are two expansions coming after that called vex and forge of gods. It remains to be seen if this will all be launched in 2015 and especially now that it´s leaked they might want to change certain things. Anyway it means that Destiny will be an interesting game to play in 2015!
Comet: plague of darkness is not Destiny 2?
I don´t think so, because it looks more like a very big expansion. This probably means that you can also buy this dlc on a disc. But the most important thing is that it will most likely bring you a lot of new things in the game, for example a new subclass! So this is something Destiny fans can look forward to, maybe not the second game some people were hoping for but I think this is pretty cool as well. Let´s not forget that getting a new game every year in a popular game series doesn´t always guarantee succes or popularity. Just look at CoD: Ghosts or Assassin´s Creed: Unity. So I actually welcome this huge expansion and hopefully get Destiny 2 next year.
Is it too late to start playing Destiny now?
Nope, you can start playing Destiny whenever you feel like it. Most things from the dlc is for higher levels but that shouldn´t stop you playing the main game and then as you level up you can play the dlc sooner or later. Multiplayer is balanced so a low level character isn´t weaker than a higher level character, but the weapon he or she is using might be better than yours and that is usually bad news for the lower level character! But don´t let that scare you! If you don´t like PvP then you can play a lot of PvE and that should keep you busy for quite some time.
