The new CoD is Advanced Warfare!
I must admit that I had my doubts when I first learned of the futuristic stuff in Black Ops 2, I enjoyed the classic and modern weapons and I didn´t see a future for this futuristic nonsense. But Black Ops 2 did a good job, it was new and yet still felt familiar. I have a feeling that this is the same with CoD Advanced Warfare which comes out on the 4th of November!
The story points towards PMCs (private military companies) and it seems that the strongest military force is the one you can hire, at least that´s what this game seems to be about. Which means that people with bad intentions and a lot of money could hire them to do bad things, in theory of course, and that would be bad for everyone else. But this wouldn´t be a CoD game if there wouldn´t be some deception or betrayal, which means that you might have to face this PMC. Which is probably the one where the character played by Kevin Spacey is the leader and most likely the main antagonist.
The soldiers look well equiped in their futuristic outfits and the trailer is action packed, well I didn´t expect anything else but it´s always the question how this will reflect in the game. I mean I like some nice action moments but some form of story is also most welcome! I don´t think Sledgehammer will disappoint with this game, because it looks interesting and it´s about something the other CoD games haven´t really been into so far. Which is a good thing, because eventhough everyone whines that they want to go back to WW II they also want something new. Well guess what, there are so many WW II games and CoD has covered that more than enough in my opinion, so why go back there again?
The haters have spoken, but I seriously don´t think their opinion matters for even a second. Because most of these keyboard ´warriors´ are probably going to play it anyway or just hate to hate, no need to waste time on people like that! I´m glad that there are also several people excited about this game, because it looks like a lot of fun and some appreciation is nice for the developers! So check out the trailer on youtube if you haven´t done so already and see for yourself!
