Consoles vs Pc
Whenever the console gamers can find a break in the console wars there is always the consoles vs pc war, which is just as stupid as the consoles war. It usually involves a group of loud mouth douchebags with too much time on their hands and wasting it on things like that, I´d say that says probably more than enough about people like that!
So the pc is better then? Of course, that´s what people want to hear! I guess in a way that might be true, you can upgrade a pc and use it for many years while consoles usually only last for a couple of years (eventhough the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 are still going strong). Because the pc can be upgraded all the time, the games usually look better because developers expect people to constantly upgrade so they can have the best of the best. This is assuming that people want to waste a lot of money on something like that.
Consoles are better then? I wouldn´t say that, because consoles are expensive and compared to the pc they don´t last that long. Games on the consoles are usually more expensive than pc games, so that doesn´t really make it a smart move to buy console games when you can play them on your pc. But if you´re a console gamer that grew up with consoles instead of first playing on a pc, then you might not have the mouse and keyboard love. Which means you probably prefer to have a controller in your hands. Of course you can also use a controller on your pc, but by the hardcore pc gamers that´s considered as betrayal! Not that anyone with even the slightest bit of intelligence would care about that! But then there are also exclusive games, these games usually only come out on one or two consoles but the pc won´t get a release. Unless that release is a year (or more) later, of course a hardcore pc gamer doesn´t care about that but you´d have to admit that it sucks that you have to wait for the exact same game for that long.
Ok one more time, are consoles better or is the pc better? I think that consoles have benefits and the pc also has benefits, there isn´t really a big winner here. If you prefer consoles then you´ll think that consoles are better and if you prefer the pc then you´ll think that one is better. There isn´t a clear victory here, it´s really something based on personal preference. But is that really a bad thing? I mean if you enjoy console games, play a lot on your console and have friends that play console games with you then why would you care about pc games and gamers? The same counts for pc gamers, why would you care about console games and gamers if you´re having fun on your pc? I´d say if you have to waste time online telling others how much consoles or the pc sucks then you´re probably not having as much fun on your console or pc, because if you really have fun with that then you wouldn´t waste time telling others how much the consoles or pc suck!
