Half Life 3 and L4D 3 confirmed?

I think in the last couple of years so many people have made jokes about Half Life 3 that nobody takes this serious anymore, up to the point where any news that could actually be truth is still taken as another stupid joke. I don´t blame people who refuse to believe that, because if you´ve seen and/or heard the amount of Half Life 3 confirmed jokes then it´s no suprise that people don´t believe it just like that.


How do you know it´s the truth? That´s just the problem, you don´t know! I mean you can have sources that seem to be honest, but after the amount of Half Life 3 confirmed jokes I don´t think a lot of  people will believe anyone who would claim it´s the truth. Which is a good thing, you shouldn´t believe other people just like that. If you want people to trust you then you should have some proof, especially if you say something bold like the confirmation of a game that a lot of people have been waiting for!


But now it seems more and more people seem to cling on this wishful thinking of Half Life 3 and also L4D 3 being in development, which still doesn´t prove anything but at least you can hope that it is. Valve doesn´t really share this information and even when they have news it´s not something they mention months in advance, I guess Valve likes to have secret. Maybe Half Life 3 was ready for years but they just kept it a secret because they can! Ok that´s what you´d call a wild speculation and most likely false, but still it´s funny how some people have made some serious theories why certain games haven´t been announced or if certain games are actually in development.


Anyway it seems that more people seem to believe that Half Life 3 and L4D 3 are in development, especially L4D 3 is getting some serious attention because people would rather believe that then Half Life 3 and I don´t blame them. Unfortunately Valve hasn´t confirmed anything so once again it could just be wishful thinking. It would really be nice if Valve just said yes or no, I mean they don´t have to give me everything but just a little something so the whole speculation about the game existing yes or no is gone. Sometimes all you need in your life is a bit of confirmation, for example in a relationship but also with games it´s something you could use. So please Valve tell us!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
