Why aren't my team mates doing anything in games?

If you're more of a lone wolf you probably don't like to play games with other people, especially not with strangers in your team because you never know what you get. Sometimes you get some decent people and sometimes you really get the worst type of people in your team. But not looking at skill there are also people that have other motivations to play games, at least that's the idea I'm getting because they are for sure not doing anything helpful!

Why do you hate team mates?

I don't think anyone starts this way, we all just want to have fun and get things done. But then you join a team of useless morons and you just feel the anger inside boiling. Not only are these people completely ignoring the objective but most of the time they are nowhere to be found. What I discovered if that a lot of people like to hang around at a spawn point or just camp in corner. Which might be great for them but for the team you are pretty useless when there is an objective you need to capture. I prefer to avoid game modes like domination because that means you need people in your team that actually play the objective and with my luck I get more often than not people on my team that don't seem to care about the objective at all. Which often means you lose and not once or twice but easily ten times in a row if you stick with certain teams. Does that mean I hate team mates? No I don't hate them, but I know that I'm happier playing games on my own than when I play games with other people. Unfortunately certain games require you to play with other people and that is fine, I just know it's going to be a frustrating experience every time...

Why do some people ignore the objective?

I like to believe that they wait for the team to group up, but after more than a minute waiting I get the feeling that this isn't really true. I think that most people just want to do their own thing and that often means going in for solo actions and against a strong team or at least a team that works together and communicates that will fail most of the time. That doesn't mean you always have to work together but just keep in mind that you're stronger together than on your own. This also means that it really helps if you communicate or at least stick together, unfortunately this hardly ever happens. The worst thing if you get beaten by a team of morons that aren't even good at the game but seem to get a win because your team is just completley refusing to work together. That's probably the worst way to lose. I think the main reason why some people ignore the objective is some sad attempt to troll, to be that annoying guy that just wants your team to lose and he or she will do everything to make that happen. Which means picking a useless character, refusing to attack and just giving away the location of everyone by shooting wildly around them. This might seem funny but if this means you get killed and lose all the time then it gets real old real fast!

What's the best way to avoid these situations?

The best thing you can do is never play multiplayer games or at least don't play multiplayer and stick to single player or a multiplayer match with just bots. The problem with that is that it is less fun and usually doesn't get you anything good, not even experience in some games. But what do you really like about playing games? If you prefer to play games on your own then that is probably what you should do most of the time. That doesn't mean that you can't play multiplayer games but just keep in mind that it will be a more frustrating experience for you. I prefer to play games on my own but I also play multiplayer games, most of my friends play games on their Playstation 4 or PC so that means I don't have a group of friends to play with me on Xboxlive, which is fine but in certain games it would be nice to have some friends in your team because that can make things so much better. My advice for you is to find some groups to join, people that like playing certain multiplayer games and group up with them. See if you're a good fit and you might even get some new friends and have people with whom you can play a multiplayer game. This makes things less frustrating and hopefully more fun. Unfortunately you can't completely avoid useless team mates, they exist everywhere. They're on all platforms and in all games, so sometimes you just have to get through that and hopefully have more luck next time. Otherwise just jump into a single player game to calm down and don't let some bad experiences ruin your day!
