The Walking Dead: Michonne (game)

At first I thought this would be another easy money game for the developers, but then I saw that it's from Telltale Games, in case you don't know what that means then I would suggest you check out the Walking Dead season 1 and 2 with Lee and Clementine, so perhaps this game might actually be good.


What can you expect from this game?


In this game you play as Michonne, you know the woman with the katana who is pretty cool but also a bit troubled. In this game you'll find out just how troubled she is because she's seeing things that aren't there and it messes with her, up to the point where she points a loaded gun to her head and it's up to you if you want to pull the trigger. Thanks to Telltale Games this isn't just another zombie killing game, you will have to make choices and those choices will have an effect on the story and what happens later in the game. It's one of the things you might expect of Telltale Games and they don't disappoint! From what I saw you do a lot of zombie killing with your sword, but I take it there's more to this game with conversations and perhaps also some type of puzzles you need to solve. Maybe not everyone is excited about this game but it does look interesting. But it's cut up in pieces, so you can first check out part one and then you'll have to wait till part 2 and other parts come out. That's a bit lame but also something you would probably expect from Telltale Games.


Why isn't this the Walking Dead season 3?


Don't ask me! It's not like I know why developers do certain things, but perhaps this was a story they wanted to tell and it might even fit in with the Walking Dead season 3. I already heard some fans are disappointed and really want season 3 of the Walking Dead, but don't despair because that's coming just after the Walking Dead: Michonne. It's easy to hate this game but I think if you give it a chance then you might actually like it and let's be honest how much do we really know about Michonne? Ok maybe in the comics you learn a lot about her, I don't know because I never read the Walking Dead comics, but in the Walking Dead series on tv she's still a bit of a mystery. So hopefully this game gives you some more background information and make an awesome character even more interesting. The Walking Dead: Michonne is out now on the 23rd of February, so feel free to check it out and who knows you might just like this game!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
