Halo 5 looks good!
Looking at the trailers, the cinematics and the gameplay trailers you'll have to admit that it looks good. Sure some haters will give this game crap but what would you expect from people who behave like that? What surprises me is that some of these haters claim to be Halo fans, they keep talking about how great the first trilogy is and how bad Halo 4 is and how bad Halo 5 will be. Which is impressive since Halo 5 hasn't released yet and somehow people can already judge the game, I guess that says enough about the haters.
You're not alone in Halo 5?
Nope, you have a team and other players can play as members of that team. Which means it's no longer a solo adventure, I guess some people don't like that and with no splitscreen mode it also makes it harder for some people to play together (assuming that your friend doesn't have the game or Xbox One). I must admit that I wish there would be a splitscreen mode in Halo 5 but the four player co-op can definitely give you and your friends a lot of fun playing this game. You can even choose as which character you want to play in co-op, so hopefully you don't get arguments about that because in the end it's just point and shoot!
It's not all the same?
I heard some people make fun of Halo 5 saying that it's once again taking place on a ship in space, well there's much more to this game than that. Today I saw a gameplay trailer where you take on a Kraken (an operating station of the Covenant) in your space ship and you can even land on it and infiltrate it. That's cool and it offers you some diversity. Then there are also the actions that remind some people of Destiny, sure some actions might have a Destiny feel to it but this is definitely Halo and not Destiny! As I mentioned before, people that hate this game will hate it and use whatever they can to annoy others with their hate for the game. Don't let that keep you from checking it out though!
Master Chief vs Locke?
That's the idea at this point, eventhough I doubt that it will really lead to a dramatic ending where one of the two dies. But it's nice that the developers introduced another playable character and Locke looks like an interesting character. I also like the return of familiar faces, Buck for example from Halo ODST, and that does make this a game for the fans and that's a good sign. Of course it's too early to say if this game will be good or bad, but my first impression of this game is good and that means I pre-order it and take a chance. Sure you can wait it out but when something look good and you have a good feeling about it then it's not a bad thing to follow that feeling.
