You know you´re a troll when...

I think most of us know what a troll is, if not then I´m not talking about a mythological creature but people that seem to enjoy annoying other people. A troll doesn´t always introduce himself or herself as a troll, often they pretend to be a bit dumb and sometimes act like they´re someone else. Which means that people aren´t always aware that they´re dealing with a troll, which can be quite amusing for a troll. But why does a troll do these things? Who knows? Maybe a troll is someone that is bored and sees this as something to pass the time, but it could also be that they´re just doing this for fun. I don´t think you always need a reason to behave the way you do, I do know that a troll is hated with a passion (at least by some people, others actually find it funny to see a troll in action).




How do you recognize a troll?




* An obvious troll is obvious, do I need to say more?


* When someone does his or her best to get you upset, then it´s often safe to say that you´re dealing with a troll!


* A troll will stalk certain comment sections, so if you see a name pop up a lot then I´d be suspecious!


* When someone always seems to reply to you, no matter what you say, then you might be dealing with a troll. But sometimes people can also just be social, but don´t be suprised by a social troll!




Things you might not know about trolls:




- A troll usually trolls for fun, they´re not the monsters you think they are...well not all of them!


- It´s not unusual to see videos of people trolling others on youtube, some of them are pretty funny!


- Trolls are often  accused of being sad people, but most times they´re just bored.


- A troll isn´t an evil person, some trolls actually have a great sense of humour!


- Most trolls aren´t as dumb as they pretend to be, it´s just to lure out some reactions.




I think a troll is often a misunderstood and underestimated person, especially when someone underestimates a troll he or she might be in for a suprise! I´m not saying that we should all love and respect trolls, I know some can be quite annoying and not every troll is good at what he or she does. But some are actually quite funny and I do think that some videos on youtube are definately worth watching, because to see a master troll at work is just something you can´t miss out on!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers? There is nothing wrong about being serious, but I think there is a time and a place for everything.
