Unfair launch dates!
For everyone with an Xbox One there is nothing to worry about, apparently if you have the new console you get everything you want exactly when you expect it. But what if you can´t afford the Xbox One or the Xbox One hasn´t launched in your country yet? Then you´re dealing with some serious bullshit because the game Titanfall will launch more than two weeks later! I know I talked about that it´s not a bad idea to buy a game for your current console if you haven´t upgraded to the newest generation of consoles, but when I see this type of behaviour from the genius that came up with this idea then I really feel like it´s a subtle way of saying that you need to buy the new console.
The new console gets the priority? In a way that makes sense, but I find it ridiculous that you get treated as if your console doesn´t matter anymore. I´m familiar that sometimes the dates are a bit different between certain regions, in Europe we usually fall behind a couple of days with North America or Asia. It sucks but that´s nothing new, besides it´s usually just a couple of days. But now with this two weeks delay for the exact same game but on a different console it´s just something I find an insult to everyone who wants to buy it on the Xbox 360! A couple of days of delay would be acceptable in some way I guess but more than two weeks is just a slap in the face!
Does this happen a lot? Unfortunately it happens a lot, because it´s not just with games it also happens with dlc. I think a lot of Sony CoD players know about that, because dlc content usually becomes a month later available on the Sony consoles compared to the Microsoft consoles. There was talk that this has ended but I can´t say for certain, anyway it sucks how people are treated like this usually for money. All these scumbags that say that they care about games and their customers often lie, it´s not about that it´s about money and it always will be about money. It´s not how can we entertain or make or customers happy, no it´s how can we get as much money from our customers!
I know I sound bitter but that´s because I just learned this Titanfall Xbox 360 delay, so the frustration is pretty fresh for me. I´m sick and tired of being treated as if you don´t matter, I mean a lot of people played for quite some years on the Xbox 360 and now we suddenly don´t matter anymore? Also it´s not as if we, people that live in countries where the Xbox One hasn´t launched yet, have a choice here because we can only play on the Xbox 360 version! I don´t know what Microsoft is up to but so far I´m not impressed, these type of stupid mistakes will cost them one day but let´s just hope that they´ll learn and for once put customers in front of money!
